Would this be a good event to start for a complete novice? I'm guessing a helmet is needed

Had to take my car today in for service to deal with some steering vibration and a recall on my seatbelt. I don't want to risk not making it on Sunday. I'd love to hear your experience and try for next week's event.

Edited the day. Ok cool. By Friday/Saturday I should know the status of my car. If you don't mind me asking, is there any preparation I need beforehand or after an event like this regarding brake pads, tires, oil, etc...

Your first time out, nada.
Just make sure you got fuel, tires got air. There's a self-tech form that you should go over but its all very basic. Like if your car can't pass that self tech, it really doesn't belong on the street. |
