4 Point bolt in Roll Cage???

I'm trying to find a vendor who has made one of these for our cars, or a supplier that currently sells them.

I'm not seeing very many choices out there.

It looks like AutoPower no longer makes theirs..

RSR, Fall Line and CMS are expensive...

Can anyone point me to a fabricator, or company that makes one of these for $1200 or less?

I've got an email into the Australian supplier AGI, also a UK supplier as well.

Any help would be much appreciated..

TIA,
Steve

Definitely interested as well. My m2C is yet to arrive but I'm already looking at a roll cage and would prefer a 4 pt harness.

I reached out to CMS and got zero response from them. I'm not a fan of the floor bolt ie RSR and FallLine.

In my search I found these in the UK but with the conversion from USD to GBP was a deal breaker.

https://www.rosssport.com/Brands/ROS...Rear-Roll-Cage
https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...cage-clubsport

I ended up ordering the Team Schirmer half cage myself.

So whatcha decide? The 4 point is cheaper but the next level up is more expensive than the CMS rollcage

I just ordered the 4 point...

I'm not chasing times anymore, but wanted to have the proper safety setup with my F/B seats..

Assuming you're keeping your factory seats so you'd end up running a a 4 pt Schroth harness?

I've ordered the 4 point AGI bar, with Sparco QRT-C's, 6 point Schroth Flexi 2x2's Blue, GSM complete seat mounting kits, and the VAC OEM seat belt adapters.

I can't believe no one in the US has a 4 point option that's not $2K +

I've sold my OEM seats as well to help pay for my final mods to the M2...

Looks like the AGI shoulder strap mounts are on the rear crossbar instead of on a bar immediately behind the seat backs like the US and European made options.

Can anyone comment on the pros and cons of the two different mounting points?

The cost of the AGI, even with shipping from AU, is pretty appealing.

You can ask them to have a harness bar in main hoop. They're pretty flexible in term of configuration of the cage.

Thanks! Couldn’t quite make that out in your previous picture. Good to know they can customize. I’m still conflicted over giving up my ability to carry tires in the back, but I’m strongly considering the safety benefit.

I don’t really like the Recaro Speed with Schroth ASM harnesses. Nowhere near as planted in the seat as my other car with proper fixed buckets and 6 point harnesses.

Yah, you can also ask them to not have the x brace in back hoop and the crossbar. So there are space to carry tires, at least 3 could fit.

SW Motorsports in the UK is also an option. They quoted me $450 for shipping to the US, and said they could do 2 cages in the same box to half the shipping cost if you have a buddy close by who wants one.

https://www.swmotorsports.uk/product...-in-half-cage/

They can also move the harness bar to the front behind the seats if you'd like.

You might want to check on those prices. On their website, they quote 900 for the entry level cage which includes GST. as far as I'm aware, you do not have to pay GST if outside Australia.

I do have a buddy that might be interested. This is probably also true for AGI.

Thanks for the idea!

As long as they are 2 piece cages I don't see why not. (most likely they are)

Good luck!

Everything is expensive right now - materials, labor, etc. Prices are jumping so finding less expensive options are just going to keep getting harder moving forward.

That being said we are working on our bars for the M2 & E92 M3 right now (my two current loves in the BMW lineup). Takes a bit of time getting everything exactly like you want it but hopefully will be worth the effort once we have them ready.

When you say "we" do you mean you will be offering them for sale once you've got development done?

I tried to get some info from CMS but they are super slow to respond and when they did, they didn't answer the question I was asking.

I was curious what the mount point in the rear was as it seems to go to the floor or attach right to the rear of the car. They don't have any photos of the mounting. I also was questioning the strength of the square design for the rear section. Great visibility sure, but feel like it's less overall strength should something happen. I do like they have a seat delete kit to go with it.

I was looking at some of the other international ones and in terms of cost it's likely a wash for a few of these options once I get one into Canada (with duties for non-US origins).

On a separate but related note, does anyone have a source for Sparco QRT seats right now? They have all vanished!
