2020 M2C Wheel/Tire Combinations

Hello all

I've finally completed all of the anticipated upgrades that I am looking to do except the last - wheels/tires. My M2C only has 5k miles and lots of rubber left on the tires as I have not done any track time on them. Originally was looking to switch to 19" Apex EC-7 or 19" Titan 7 Ts-5 on stock suspension as I do not wish to destroy the ride qualities of the vehicle but would not mind a wider wheel/tire combination mostly for appearances. Also should mention looking at anthracite-titanium in terms of color.

I now have moved to considering Titan 7 Ts-5 versus 763M. My abbreviated comparison:

Titan7 - slightly wider for appearance sake, forged and light, less expensive at $2700-2800 plus/minus

763M - also forged and similarly light weight, more upfront $ but probably offset by better resale price

Originally was planning to switch to PS4 in 265/30 and 295/30 but have since switch to OEM size at 245/35 and 265/35 or 265/30 and 285/30.

Would appreciate the thoughts of the group (forum) on the above. It is not an insignificant investment and want to be sure to take into consideration other viewpoints which I may not have considered thus far. Clearly in no rush as my current set up will not require a tire change for another 5 years at my current rate

Thanks in advance,
Sean

I wouldn’t worry about resale value on the wheels. Get the ones you think look better on your M2C.

On tire size I am running 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 (M3/4 size). No problems on stock suspension.

I agree with Dan get the wheels you love otherwise you may regret it. The Black 763M’s can be had for about $3400 wheels only. And definitely consider spacers to really complete the look. Personally I’d go 763M IMO they’re nicer looking.

I’m lowered about 1 in. Stock tires on 763M’s 10mm spacers on all corners, no rubbing. 12mm fronts were rubbing.

Are 265/30 and 285/30 a good choices for oem 9/10" wheels. To run 35 profile I think gets too high tire side.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Not the biggest fan of the OEM 788m's. Was wavering between the Titan 7's and the 763m's. They both look awesome but if there was no price difference between them it would be the 763m in gray. But the price point is more attractive for the Titan 7's. Looking at running a square setup or slightly wider than stock fitment
