This is why I went with the Richland Forged brushed bronze, "double tinted." I felt like the LBB needed to have more, "toned" down wheels, if that's the right word. This is from the Richland Forged thread;

The 8 to 10 week wait is already killing me and it's only been a few days lol.

Mineral Grey
These aren't the BMW wheels - these are Richland Forged in "competition gold". It's a real nice, brushed finish that has hints of black & gray in it. Gotta say, super-high quality wheel and finish. I hope like hell I never curb 'em.
The wheels look VERY different depending on the light (which is a super-cool effect) but the gold is always pretty subdued - not that brassy, super shiny gold tone. These really haven't grown on me yet with the grey. They appear to "work" only in certain light to my eyes. But I can say I get TONS of compliments on the wheels and the combo. I was willing to step out from the usual & try something different. Figured I'd share the pics to help others visualize.

Was going to be my choice, but unfortunately the only '21 I was able to find was Long Beach Blue (which was my second choice). I'm ridiculously excited, haven't purchased a car for myself since the E46 M3 and just counting down the days. Suppose to get here mid-July.
I think I'll be going with a brushed bronze set similar to burtonsbs5114 |
