What Emix are you running? Can you post your logs so we can see/help remedy the stutter? |

You need almost 4gal at a minimum and up to 5gal if your flex fuel E85 is lower than 85% ethanol content. I usually just do half E85/half 93 to make mixing easy and that lands me ~E45. I'll take a look at your log in a bit, but add a few more gallons of E85 and see if the issue goes away. |

When I ran the Stg 2 E30 map on the stock HPFP I used apps like CalculatE85 to estimate a certain Emix in the tank between fill ups. With the Dorch HPFP, I just go half 93/half E85 to keep things simple. |

EDIT: First log isn't worthwhile; you're not WOT until 5k RPM and you're not running the car to redline. Second log isn't worthwhile; you're only WOT from 3-4.5k RPM. When you log after adding more E85, go WOT from 3K-redline. If you don't have the room to do that in 4th gear, do it in 3rd gear. Last edited by ZM2; 02-14-2021 at 11:52 AM.. |

Hey Man, did you check ethanol content in E85 pump? I'm in Chicagoland area and currently I only have 73% on the pump. You have to test it before doing your E85 calculation. ZM2 and I worked a lot on this map and the best to run this map is E50 mix which the couple of forum members and Halim confirmed it. This map works great as long as you have the right HPFP pump, fuel mixed and 3.5 bar TMAP sensor in place, you should really enjoy it. I have been so happy to run this map but can't push too much because Chicago winter now. Can't wait to open it up in spring soon!

ZM2.. went and added 3.5 gal of e85 and topped off 93. To make 6 total, and I did notice a big increase in throttle response. Tried small wide open pulls in 4th and 5th without any stuttering. Its 73 and rainy (tampa area)now so I can't really get any logs in today. Its seems the lack of e85 was the culprit. Ill log this weekend and post. Thanks again

Your previous mix was E21-24 which is way too low for this map. It’s labeled E30, but just as JKen_0115 said, even E30 seems low in the logs and guys are having the best results E45-55. |

The good thing is it was wet and you were easing into your initial tests, so you didn’t spend much time at WOT and caught it early. Gotta love $2.xx/gal race gas. I’ll buy all the E85 I can! Heck, even after accounting for 30% less energy content per gallon than 93, it’s only a 13% cost premium versus pump gas here. Whereas 100 octane is more than triple the price of pump gas! |
