Nankang AR-1 is a poor tire. I didn’t like those on my 911 GT3 at all. Cup2s are better.
Yokohama A052 showing better lap times than Cup2s and keep the grip until they are worn out completely. A052 do not degrade as quickly as Cup2s, they have good grip over the entire tire life.

I liked the A052 so much that I left those for street driving as well. Once you warm them up they just have by far better grip when accelerating in comparison to Cup2s.

Wear comparison a052 vs cup2? I've heard a052 is good for like 12heat cycles

Any 200 threadbare tire in those sizes will work. I'd consider the Falkens or General tire which will be cheaper but still offer decent performance.

Becareful with those ADVANs a member on this forum had a tire delaminate and totaled his car. Another mustang driver had the same thing happen as well.

I wouldnt want that to happen to your cars. keep a good eye on them.

I really like the Falken RT660 but still after 7-8 laps they fall off, but its a fast tire probally 95% of the grip a RE71R but with more durability.

I was impressed with the RT660 in factory sizes - ran them in quite cold temperatures and they performed really well. I burned the outer edges with factory camber but otherwise they held up well. I never noticed much of a performance fall off towards the end of the sessions.

Currently running 245/275 Nankang CR-S (CR-1) and loving them for track use. My friend is running 245/265 Supercar 3R on his M2CS and also a really great tire. Highly recommend the CR-S.
