i'd be all over this if Dinan made the exhaust all the way instead of having to cut anything... their exhaust looks the nicest! aii...

Aaaaand, I got an email today saying that the Dinan exhaust is delayed (again, and again, and again) until March 24.

Not holding my breath to think that'll be a solid date.

In their defense, they didn't actually give a year, just a month.

What is the status on the Dinan exhaust for M2C? I was about to pull the trigger, but it shows a shipping date of 11/19. Should I not believe this?

There is a build order in the system so there is a batch in the production queue at least (all parts are available). Looking at the various statuses of sub-assembly pieces though I would personally say the 11/19 date probably is a bit optimistic but that may just be the last year and a half and supply chain/production delays beating me down at this point. =/

Any videos you can share? Did you disable active sound? With the stock exhaust it was too quiet for me without the active sound so I renabled it, I hope the Dinan exhaust fixes this so I can disable ASD for good.

I ordered mine from X-PH November 24th, ETA is Jan 9. 2022, I hope there are no delays?

Anybody has sound clip of the dinan axle back with x pipe ? I'm looking to get a much louder exhaust system comparing to stock for the M2comp with less rasp. I'll build a full dinan M2 comp (intake, heat exchanger, coilovers, tune, exhaust). Not sure how much louder is this exhaust system...

If what you want is MUCH louder that can be Dinan but you will need to run high flow cats in your DP. Otherwise I'd check out Remus Race or Valvetronic IMO. While I think Valvetronic sounds the best being that it's equal length without a goofy looking midpipe, I'll be going Dinan myself just from a price/looks perspective. M2C exhausts are insanely expensive.

Yeah not insanely loud but louder haha ! I have the oppurtunity to buy the full dinan exhaust for 1750$ shipped so I guess i'll go with it !

I have an order for your exhaust with USP Motorsports. The expected ship date has come and gone, and now the updated date is over a month away. Are you guys up to speed with these or are there still length delays for your exhaust? I'm hoping not to have to wait 6 months.

There are still exhaust delays on certain SKU's. In the case of the M2C we are waiting on production to get the next set of can's done -- all the kibbles from what I can see are finally here though so its just a matter of whereever it is in the scheduling queue as to when that that part is completed and final finish welding can proceed. That said this run will not satiate the entire existing backorder so the the date on the website will be reasonably accurate for a new order given the information available today.

The bigger issue in your particular case is I do not see an order in the system for an M2C exhaust from USP. The last order for them for the SKU was shipped back in May of last year. May have been ordered outside of their normal account for some reason. Regardless, I would check with USP to confirm.

There is at least one member who fitted them together and the sound was amazing. But it’s not a bolt on situation. I believe there was some cutting required of the Dinan exhaust. And he welded the two together instead of using clamps.

+1 it needs minor modification that your exhaust shop can easily do

Hey guys, I just watched this video of Matt Moreman of Obsessed Garage touring the joint Dinan and APR facility. Fast forward to about the 30:32 mark, and you will see an example of the Dinan exhaust for the M2C..

Moreman seems fairly impressed with it, but he never liked the stock sound on his F80. I'm not sure how some of you feel about Dinan but, I think it sounds really good.

The M2C with the GUNS plate is my car, This was at Dinan HQ, also has resonator delete. Here are some videos of me driving it on the autobahn race track in Joliet IL. I suctioned cupped the go pro to the idrive screen. remember this was Dinan's R&D car and they put everything on it including tune.
