Only got to drive for about an hour today but I keep flipping between whether it's loud enough or if I want a tiny bit more. It's definitely louder than stock and has a presence. Downshifting now has a nice kick to it and WOT is great. I may try the unresonated midpipe to see. I think the race would push it towards too loud for my current situation personally.

Just got catless vrsf dps, paired with stock midpipe /w secondary cats + resonator and remus race muffler.

Sounds very cool. You can hear the turbo out of the exhaust, and its kind of an airy sound at low rpm that turns into a metallic wail at high rpm. There's very little/just enough smell. The secondary cats take care of that.

Sounds crazy at high rpm, high gear on track.

I used to hate how S55 sounded, but this sounds very motorsport. Perhaps it's Stockholm syndrome.

How well does the Remus sport mate up with the AA EL mid?
Any customization required?

It would be great if they did, but I would be VERY surprised if 2 different mfg were a direct match.

My shop had no issues whatsoever pairing this specific combo. I am going in Friday to try out the non res version.

Resurrecting an old thread but this a very informative one. Anyone have a link for sound clip of a Remus Race exhaust with stock downpipes and stock mid pipes? Looking for U.S. version of M2 Competition. Most clips of what I'm asking about tend to be EU models with OPF filters. Thank you!

I do not have any additional clips but we just got the exhaust in stock

What is the size of the Remus race outlets? I have the M Performance CF tips for the stock exhaust that I believe are 70mm inlet and I would like like to use them on any exhaust upgrade.

Won't fit. Only REMUS tips will fit on their exhaust
