i'm thinking about going from 437's to the 763's. if I were to pull the trigger on it right now i'd buy the complete wheel and tire set from Sun in PA for $4600 with free shipping. They come mounted and balanced with new TPMS and Cup 2's so I could just put them on myself and avoid a trip to the dealership.

the second hand market for 437's looks slightly better than that for 788's.

i think I could probably get $2k for my as-new 437's with Conti's. So to move to the 763's and Cup 2's i'd be out of pocket about $2500.

Financed with a Home Equity Loan, cost deducted as a business expense.

Just don't get audited.

true, but you will be at the dealership in 6-8k miles when the SC2s are worn...

yeah, but that will be at least a few years from now. i've had my LCI for about 5 months now and only have 470 miles on the odometer.

Great choice then. I have them on my GT3 which is my weekend car.

And also hope they don't check the internet.

That's my plan as well. I won't be putting a lot of miles on it, so when it is time to replace them I'm gonna probably upgrade the wheels to the 763s and the Cup2s at the same time.

Just a FYI... I bought the last one they had currently listed. Not sure if they have or will list more. Great deal with no sales tax (for me in TX) and shipping included!

Pretty sure they will get more. They notified me immediately when a new order from BMW arrived.

Just a FYI for those purchasing from Sun Motors. The wheels arrived today, expertly packaged with heavy outer boxes around the factory OEM boxes. Even FedEx didn't harm the contents. Shipped on time and with zero hassle. Seems like a great source for OEM parts to me.

And BTW, they have a new listing up for the same $2950 buy it now price. Happy shopping!

agreed, packaged very well and quick shipping at the best price. i do wonder what the true invoice is on these wheels since they're taking a fairly large hit on ebay and paypal fees. just goes to show how much markup other dealers sell these for

Ditto on the excellent packing/shipping. It has never taken so long for me to unpack something.

Do you have these mounted on your car yet? I'm tempted to pull the trigger, my car doesn't arrive for another 6 or so weeks.

I haven't even done my ED yet (2/15), but liked some photos I saw of the 763M on a LBB M2C, I just pulled the trigger early.

Steal the 763s and then sell the 788s.

That'll be $500 please...

Yes but it's very mild (about 10-12mm I believe). Currently riding on Ohlins RT with its out-of-the-box drop. I might lower it for another 10mm or so in the future but so far I'm happy with it.

I believe the M3 CS orbit grey have a different size for the rears which don't fit the M2C. Really sucks....well at least for M2 owners.
