We are not sure which camber plates they used... possibly Ground Control. This car is sorted for track time so my guess is they dialed in around -3 degrees up front. I will try to verify this for you guys.

What kind of hubcentric spacers would you recommend in 12 and 15 mm sizes? And what material, aluminum? I have a fear of the spacer lip guillotined by the wheel....

I would recommend our hubcentric APEX spacers paired with the proper length extended hardware (lug bolts or stud kit). We have great product pages that dive into the details about our spacers.

David shared some great shots of his M2 on EC-7 wheels! We think they look amazing on his car

Wheels: Anthracite EC-7 18x9.5 ET35 square
Tires: Michelin PS4 275/35-18
Spacers: 12mm up front for strut clearance (5mm would have worked). 12mm spacer in rear.
Suspension: KW HAS

I Love it! You really think the 275 would fit with a 35 offset and only a 5mm spacer? I was thinking I would go with the 22mm.

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, 275's work very well with the 18x9.5" ET35 square fitment, however spacer thickness requirements up front for proper strut clearance will vary depending on tire brand, vehicle ride height as well as suspension type.

With stock suspension, lowering springs with stock shocks, or most aftermarket coilovers with linear springs, inner clearance is maximized and 5mm spacers can be used with most 275 tires. With height adjustable sleeve kits or coilovers like KW, Bilstein or Ohlins, thicker spacers may be required due to the suspensions design.

Yes, by running the 9.5" ET22 you could bypass the need for spacers. however now you have a very aggressive fitment in the rear. There are pro's and con's to either, and that is ultimately why we are developing the 18x9.5" ET28 for this chassis.

Love these FL-5... but these specs seem ideal for track setups. What would you recommend for a daily driver M2 without suspension mods and camber plates? How wide can I safely go for wheels and tires?

Hi ObsidianX

We'd recommend the following fitment...

Front:
18x9" ET30 FL-5 wheels with 245/40-18 tires

Rear:
18x9.5" ET35 FL-5 wheels with 265/40-18* or 275/35-18 tires

*Edited with correct tire size.

Hi ObsidianX

We'd recommend the following fitment...

Front:
18x9" ET30 FL-5 wheels with 245/40-18 tires

Rear:
18x9.5" ET35 FL-5 wheels with 265/35-18 or 275/35-18 tires
Why not 265/40R18 or 275/40R18 in the rear? Isn't the stock 19" tire 265/35R19?
