Bought a pair as well and got a message saying they are sold out and will be delivered on Wednesday. I guess this thread has something to do with it

I just ordered the cf automotive passion ones as well. Looking forward to putting them on as VA roads are horrible!

Just installed mine today and I am happy with the fitment - no issues. There is a part of me that wishes they were a little larger for more protection, but style matters, too. They're pretty subtle on my MG.

What's the install procedure? Do they require drilling? Tire removal?

They sent good instructions via email to me. You wouldn't have to remove the wheel but I did to make it easier (and I wanted to rotate front wheels). No drilling. Here is my version of the instructions:

1. Push in lower the two mushroom clips of the fender liner (I did all three thinking they were replaceable, but they are one-time use so now I have to order extras).

2. Clean the lower portion of the rocker panel (below the fender liner - it's about 3-4 inches) that faces the tire in order to install 3M double sided tape (preparation of the surface is the key to getting this great tape to work).

3. Put the splash guards between the fender and the fender line and push the supplied replacement plastic clips in. The fit was good. I put the top one in first and had to slightly push the bottom of the guard in towards the car and then push the second clip in. Then pushed the middle locking plastic center in.

4. Peel the liner of the 3M double-sided tape off and push the splash guard against it.

I didn't/haven't driven the car since I installed them. Allowing the adhesive to set seems to a recommendation and I followed it. Overnight, it still looked good and in place. It's very solid.

Let me know if you have any questions or I can help in any way.

How did the order process go? I'm also contemplating getting these to help reduce the winter slush.

I don't really like the look of any of these. Seem too wide at the top and not wide enough at the bottom. I think I'm gonna try to make my own.

I've received mine but haven't attempted the install. I'm saving up a bunch of small tasks to do at one time. I also received an email about the third screw requirement and needing to drill, which didn't make me happy. They offered to cancel the order but honestly I didn't see the email until too late.

They should've offered at least a partial refund for the drilling, which is what happened for me.

Bumping this super old thread to say I got my arch gaurds in from Automotive Passion.

Easy install, just pop the tabs and slide the gaurds in then use the new tabs and put a little bit of 3M double sided at the bottom.

I could hear all the stones hitting them as I left my car park. Hopefully these will save the paint!

Mine have been on backorder form automotive passion but they should have shipped now so I'm excited to get and install them.

Do they make splash guards for the rear of our cars? Doesn't that area need love too?

These are primarily for protection of the rear fender area that flares out. Splash guards in the rear aren't accomplishing much.

Another vote for the automotive passion ones. Subtle but nice hint of carbon and super easy to install.

Rather have something that's a bit more contoured to the cars lines rather than just a carbon flap. It's crazy that no company has created a true set of mudguards in carbon fiber for this model.

Can you clarify on this (sorry if I missed more detail in a different post)? Did this involve just drilling a hole in the new CF flaps, or the car as well?
