Looking for track tires for my m2 competition with the big caliper, 19 inch tires are the minimum

I would like to get review if someone is running these size

Hankook rs4 is only available in 245/35/19 front ( thread width 9.1 inch)
275/35/19 rear thread width 10.3 inch)

By the specs, they run very large, i would like a review if someone run them in these size, do you find that this setup have good balance and handling or it bring more understeer in the handling

Thanks

I'll be running 265/35r18 and 285/35r18 this weekend. Will let you know what I think.

RS4s are great for a not-light car like ours. Can keep up a strong pace the whole session without getting greasy due to the high heat load capacity. They liked higher pressures (around 36-37 in my case from pyrometer measurements). Steering feel is much better than the A052s they replaced on my car. They did take a lap or two to warm up though. My cold pressures were about 27-28.

Are these strictly your track tires or do you run them on the streets as well?

For me they're strictly track tires. I don't have any issues running them on the street though (I usually street them for a couple hundred miles when new to wear down the storage coating/layer so the tire has grip when I get to the track). They have pretty decent street manners IMO.

I’ve run several sets of RS4 over the last few years. Their rate of wear is better than anything else I’ve tried in the 200TW category. In my experience though, their wet grip is pretty terrible. I’ll continue to run them midsummer though when wet weather is unlikely due to their lower running cost. If conditions warrant, I’ll just run street tires or something like A052 that is (much) better in the wet.

Aside from that colder climate feedback, I agree with FaRKle!

Right on, I'm thinking about giving them a shot.

Good to know. Luckily here in the Bay Area it doesn't rain that much. Really like the A052s but they wear very fast and are a lot more expensive.
