I had an earlier car up until some Pinapple rear ended me. I was lucky to find a 21 allocation [IMG][/IMG]

It was tuned all of three weeks and let me say it was a different car with the tune.

I'd rather walk away from cars at will. 100 extra hp was and will be again a lot of fun

Thanks for the first hand info! I'm not sure how to feel about a piggyback tune. I guess it's fine, but maybe I'll hold out for a flash tune if it ever gets here.
I listened recently to a Smoking Tire podcast with Steve Dinan. Steve spoke about his Carbahn tune philosophy and if I remember correctly, he spoke negatively about piggybacks. Would be interesting to see him put his brand behind one.

Yeah of course. Piggybacks force very few changes like boost and require that the DME compensate for other parameters like timing. I'd never one run one personally.

Meh - I know this has been debated endlessly, but I overwhelmingly prefer a flash over a piggyback.

I have had my CarBahn Stage 1 tune since early this year. I agree it’s a different car. Highly recommended. I also got the flashing tablet and the warranty. I figured if nothing goes wrong during the factory and CarBahn warranty time frame then the tune is good to go.

If its this hard to crack the DME now what will the version on the G87 be like.

What I gathered from talking to Chris is that it is a stg 3 big turbo kit. Unfortunately not a piggyback

Did anyone else hear anything about this mystery announcement? Feels like radio silence on the M2C front from them.

Wish they could get Stage 1 for '21 model years. I'd be all over it.

Yes, I called and they said they did have someone that was going to use their car for the initial piggy back system, but that fell through. They need a car for a week and then four weeks to get the system ready for sale. I considered it, but I'm three states away

Thanks. OK so it's a piggyback system rather than a flash tune. Which is probably not my jam anyway. Good to know. Guess I'll get used to stock power!
