Square wheels, staggered tires?

So I have some cheap race wheel options in 18x10.5 sizing, forged wheels reasonable price, ET good enough to spacer solve running them...

But as my goal is faster times I still prefer a staggered tire setup...

Would this work?
255/35/18 front
295/30/18 rear

Thinking AR1.

Or would it be better to run 275/35 square ?

255 on a 10.5 is pushing it outside it's range. 275/35/18 square would be better in this instance
