Handling Fire Ash?

Greetings from across the line :-)
My M2C is in a carport and is still getting covered with tiny ash particles from the WA state and BC interior fires.

I can literally blow it off, but there is still then a proper dusty layer below the particles. I am going for my PPF/Ceramic on Monday, so hopefully that will make it easier going forward.

But I wondered if anyone here is suffering the same and has any top tips?

The Seattle area had this problem a few years ago. I found that it was pretty easy to heavily rinse the car and then wash it to get rid of the ash.

Only a car cover can protect it from ash falling on it.

Ash can create some very nasty chemical reactions. Low-pressure rinsing can end up doing harm. This car wash actually has a good write-up:

I wonder if Larry from https://ammonyc.com/ has done any videos specifically about safely removing ash from paint. It might be worth taking a look on his website or youtube channel.

But don't do what I did with my daily driver last year and just let the rain and ash do their magic to the paint and PPF. I shared a picture of it here https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1770239

I'm in a car port in Bellingham. I had my M2C ceramic coated which has helped. I have been using Griots Surface Wash with a foam cannon as a touchless pre-wash

Dude I drove mine for several hours and it was the worst covering everything

Had to give it a proper wash immediately when I returned home
