Im the same really, mhd stage 2+, fbo, in the uk 99 ron fuel, so the next step would be dorch stage 1 and custom map, but then you maybe want a pure 500 turbo

then its new clutch as i have manual , 3k in money down by that point .

How much is the MHD map pack? I have MHD and a HPFP. I heard it's only about 2psi-3psi and the same timing.

each map pack is like $120

if you have mhd you might not have to pay for additional map pack. The hpfp is already included in my stage 2 pack

Nothing crazy and no worries bc the car runs great! I’ve already done a bunch of logs when I first transitioned to E85. It runs awesome on BM3 Multimap E30 filled up with full E85!

- Dorch Stage 2.5
- catless dp
- CSF intercooler
- Remus exhaust
- flex fuel kit
- Mosselman Thermostat

What is your max timing on full E85?
I'm running same set up, E50 mixed, log shows 14.5 at the top.

Looking good. It seems timing doesn't scale at all on E64 compare to E45-E50, even though ignition blend factor is 0.9 in your log. According to my log, E50 was 0.72 still 14.5 degree@6700rpm. Torque at clutch are pretty identical too.
Did you upgrade DV and turbo inlet pipe? I know it's not much but boost may hold 1.5-2psi higher if you have those upgraded. Mine was holding 17.2 till 6760rpm. This version got dialed down the low end a bit than last version so that stock turbo wouldn't drop too fast on high end.
But I still miss the old version for street driving, was 50lbft more @3500rpm

I’m only running e85 bc gas prices have gotten out of control here in California lol. But yeah the car runs absolutely phenomenal on this setup!

Yeah, I'm in LA too. Almost $7 for trash 91 last few weeks.
So I skip the pump gas cycle and kept running E85 for months. LOL

Did u test what's the maximum E you can run for your set up?

Yeah bro I’ve been filling up with pure e85 - no issues with LPFP or EKP module

The propel fuel E85 near me has really high E%, above 85% most of the time.
How do you end up E64 in tank? According to F30 forum, 70% seems to be the limit of it.

I noticed the same regarding timing when I tried up to E65—no difference compared to E50.

Maybe someone can try E70-85 to see if timing moves higher.

There was def some 91 still left in there - I did that log on my first "full fill up" of E85

While a BM3 and MHD are a good one size fits all, there are always outliers.
Did this log earlier. Many thanks to ericlr1225 for deciphering it for me! He says everything looks good.

Just did 6 pulls back to back without cooling, 76F ambient, IAT within the range. Hit 104F highest.
I filled E85 to full tank with 1/6ish E50 mix left and got E73 according to sensor reading.
Bootmod3 IOS app glitch still not fixed. (Doesn't save logs sometime and shift light doesn't work for couple versions) It only captured/uploaded last 2 pulls, all fuel cut.

Stock turbo
Dorch stage2 hpfp
Stock Lpfp

By looking at the logs, Ignition, Fuel, Torque Factor all hit 1.0 maximum.
So I don't think it's necessary to fuel more E after.

Timing hit 14.5deg, and all other parameters look same as E50 fuel.

Lol I learned the hard way on Saturday that the stock EKP/LPFP combo is really not the move for full E85. I completely killed the OEM EKP lol. Gonna be moving back down to E50 for the time being until I can custom wire up an upgraded LPFP. I shouldn't have any issues running E85 mix with shit CA 91 right? As long as I'm above E30?

There are octane calculators out there for blends that let you play with assumed octane of each part.
