Damn that conversion adds up real quick. I’m probably looking at $1700+ buying the parts used. It just doesn’t seem worth it

Yup, that's the cost of going OEM.

Don't forget labor if you need a shop to change suspension top mounts for you.

Yeah it's not too hard to diy, so that's always a possibility.

But yeah, OEM is never going to be cheap.

damn, I honestly think I’ll just get the Wiechers then. to at least add a brace for performance and to add a touch of carbon to the engine bay to go with the carbon corner braces

Yeah that's a good plan.

I actually just found out the OEM brace is very sensitive to install with many breaking the plastic bolting area, I heard it’s a pain in the ass to install properly

I'm pretty sure those are aluminum brackets not plastic, but they can break - but I've never heard of them breaking due to install, just car crashes.

If those tabs can break via install alone, then that brace is literally for show only.

I heard they are very fragile and break easily with over torquing. I also was told the strut bar doesn’t really add much value in general. I got this input from Fritz Ramo’s live chat on YouTube

just found out the strut bar doesn’t clear and I can’t have it on. I believe it’s because of my turbo kit
