Seats from newer BMWs in M2 Comp

Has anyone tried to fit seats from the newer BMW models to the M2 Competition? I was wondering if standard seats from the new M2 or i4 with M seats would fit to F87 and if side airbags would work?

The cars been out for years, at some point someone's probably tries to put a Laz-y-Boy in there.

Kies Motorsports did a G82 carbon bucket swap into a F80. All the seats in the F8X are interchangeable and all the seats in the G8X are interchangeable, so since they were able to fit those G82 seats into the F80, your G87 seats should fit in a F87. You'll have to deal with coding to get full functionality and no errors though and memory seats wont work because there's no button for them on the seat.
