Downpipe installation

Just picked up a fabspeed sport cat. I don't really have access to a decent lift so I was planning on getting a shop to install it for me; anyone have a recco?

Was thinking about giving achtuning a ring to see if they'll do it, even though they seem like more of an audi shop...

A guy from Car Tender called me about my quote email about how altering emissions equipment is illegal and that I could spend up to 1 year in prison. Tried desperately to get off the phone by just repeating "Yeah, I understand, thanks for calling" but dude kept on trying to lecture me.

Hard pass on that shop from me forever.

I first called the ACHtuning, but didn't want to install my downpipe so referred me to Cantrell motorsports in Bellevue. I installed the VRSF downpipes for my M3 last week Friday and did a great job.

You can also try 425 motorsports and get some quote as well.

They may have been a little too strong, but they are right about altering emissions equipment. I have also heard that installing a down pipe voids your engine warranty. So you may have to think twice before going forward with the install.

Update: went to achtuning, did a great job installing my Fabspeed do for $245 out the door in two hours. Good experience and Id definitely go back, even though it was little odd to sit and watch Audi videos while my BMW was being worked on
