Could someone PLEASE confirm that the part number above is the correct one? I don't to order the wheels with the wrong ones.
Thanks.

PS. Here is what the guy from Apex wrote me:
"We believe the correct TPMS sensor is the RDE027. This is the manufacturers part number. BMW will assign a part number to their own sensor, and we do not currently have that information on file. This should be the same sensor found in the F22 2 series as well as the F8X M3/4. Since TPMS sensors must be installed with your wheels during mounting and balancing, the last thing we want is to cost our customers time and money if they have installed the wrong TPMS. Therefore, we always state that the customer check his part number with their local BMW department. Though we may have a recommendation as to what the sensor may be, the only way to truly guarantee the number is through BMW."
Andrettifan, I apologize for your experience. We offer TPMS sensors as a complimentary item, in effort to create more value for enthusiasts who would like to make one purchase, acquiring everything that they need for proper installation. With that said, TPMS sensors can be a tricky component due to the part numbering systems, and unfortunately the implications for installing the wrong part number can be costly. Huf, the German manufacture, and BMW both have their own part numbering systems for the same sensors, and some BMW chassis have multiple part numbers superseding each other depending on the production date of the vehicle.

Matt's recommendation for the RDE-027 (Huf part #), also known as 36106856209 (BMW part #) is correct, however we do recommend that customers verify with their local BMW dealership to assure accuracy to avoid mis-installation. This is particularly important when a new model comes to market.

Customer service is extremely important to the APEX team, and we will continue to make advancements in how we format TPMS sensor data, and how we educate our customer base on TPMS sensor compatibility with their vehicle.

We greatly appreciate your business.

Again, apologies for my earlier rant. Someone from Apex contacted me and sorted it all out. My order was edited, good to go, happy we met the required 30 orders, and I'm looking forward to getting those wheels and tires (and TPMS!!!) installed before the snow hits here in Connecticut.

Thanks again for following up.

I've tried to call Apex a few times to figure out how this is going to work for Canadian customers on this group buy and it just rings and rings. Is the deadline to sign up and order tomorrow or is that just to pledge? When is the deadline to order if it makes sense for me to do so?

Deadline to order is tomorrow and there won't be any extensions.
I believe Canadian Byers pay a flat 100 for shipping.

Placed my order! No idea why paypal is the only payment method, probably the worst exchange rate ever.

Can you comment on below quote please? This is from another winter tire thread on this forum (640M thread). I'm among those that pledged for the square winter setup for the M2.

Does anybody know for sure how well the M2's DTC and DSC systems can cope with a square setup?

ApexRaceParts Hopefully someone can comment on this soon as we all ordered the Apex recommended square setup but that seems just copied and pasted in each paragraph for all the M2/3/4 from the F8x and Ex versions etc. so not sure if its based on anything. Hopefully it the orders can be altered if there is an issue running a square setup but let's solve this now.

Please note, although the F8X M3/M4 has the same 18x9" ET31 square wheel recommendation, the tire recommendations are different to suit each specific chassis appropriately.

We have no reason to believe customers will experience issue's with a square fitment, as long as the appropriate tire size is selected. Many M2 customers are already running 245/40-18 tires on all four corners for an efficient winter fitment. Furthermore, many are also running 265/35-18 square for a track oriented square fitment.

OEM:
F: 245/35-19 - overall rolling diameter of 25.75"
R: 265/35-19 - overall rolling diameter of 26.3"

APEX Winter Suggestion:

F&R: 245/40-18 - overall rolling diameter of 25.72"

The 245/40-18 square fitment recommendation is shared by many, including TireRack.

^agreed. Keith@tirerack.com recommends a square winter setup for the M2, same 245/40/18

I think most people myself included are all familiar with the 245/40 setup being quite good and well within the +-4-5% threshold when changing oem diameter. The concern here that I have is how the dsc / traction etc. settings and dynamics will be affected. that seems the be the concern is that the computer doesn't like the square setup hence BMW winter recommended fitment of 235/40 front and 255/35 rear. If you have any insight or comment into that it would be real appreciated. If not sure if you can look into before shipping out my order I would also appreciate it as in my city I will be driving on this setup for 6 months of the year. I need it to work.

When I lived in Winterpeg, I sold Renaults for a living, all front wheel drive, used to love doing reverse donuts in the snow. So, has it snowed yet? Stay warm.

ANY PLACE is a great place for an M2!!!

We frequently hear of this concern, and it is a valid concern, but DSC is not causing issues for customers using the recommended specifications in question. DSC is smart enough to adapt, and we've sold thousands and thousands of square sets over the years with similar concerns on the table. Wheel spin where DSC is needed is a lot more than 4-5% front to rear rotation.
