ET-22 square setup?

I am looking for a set of square wheels as dedicated track set for my M2, soon to be delivered this spring. I am thinking of APEX EC-7 18X9.5 et22 wheels with 275/35/18 all around. Will they clear? will ET-22 stick out a lot in the rear?

I do not plan to use spacers due to safety concerns.

unlikely to fit in rear. that's pushing out by 12 mm plus the additional tire width. pictures posted of the rear fender suggest that configuration won't fit. hard to tell though until someone gets in there and starts experimenting.

That's pushing out 18mm at rear plus another 10mm for tyre. The front is also gonna rub.

12 mm push since the 9.5 inch wheel is 6 inches narrower on each edge than the stock 10 inch wheel.

In the back:
18mm (ET 40 --> ET22) + 5mm on each edge (265 --> 275) = 23mm
Package will stick out 23 mm (0.9'') farther.
Most likely it will rub.

In the Font:
Package is 8 mm (0.3'') closer to suspension/brakes components.
7mm (ET 29 --> ET22) + 15mm on each edge(245 --> 275) = 22mm
Package will stick out 22 mm (0.9'') farther.
Most likely it will rub.

Check this setup (not square, but..):
BF Goodrich G-FORCE R1 245/45/18 Apex PS-7 18X9.5 ET22 stick out 7mm
BF Goodrich G-FORCE R1 275/35/18 Apex PS-7 18X9.5 ET35 stick out 10mm
Most likely will not rub.

You could try other options here:

From what I can tell from photos the M2 is no way near the offsets the M3/M4 uses on after market wheels even when lowered. So I think we need M2 specific offsets for all wheels.

I would go with 265 tires squared. u would only have to buy 2 new tires for front. it would be about 18mm more aggressive (push outward) and I believe won't rub, even lowered, if it's offset is close to M3.

I ran 275 all around on my M3 with Apex arc-8 with no rubbing and lowered on springs

No one will be able to confirm this for you... it will all be speculation until someone gets an M2 and can get measurements and start test fitting. I would not buy anything until you know for certain unless you are OK with it potentially not fitting.

I'll be that person doing the tests. I have a small arsenal in my garage of sizes I can check. Different widths and offsets plus 3 and 5 mm spacers for more evaluation. Can't wait.

I am not sure if this helps anyone. The wheel was 18x10.5 et 27 and it was way too aggressive. I am currently running/ testing 19x9.5 et 23 with 275 and it dead flush and probably rubs if someone was riding in the back seat. We are going to run forged Renn motorsport wheels soon.

What are you running in the front in this pic? Looks pretty good from this view.

18x9.5 et35 and 18x10.5 et 27. It is very aggressive unless you are going to run some camber.

So what would your ideal offset be with 9.5 in front and 10.5 in the back?

According to this, the fronts poke out about the same as stock and only go toward the suspension. If you went with 255's it looks like it would have the same stretch as stock. 275's should be fairly square with 9.5. TTFS , we're there any issues with the wheels/tires rubbing the suspension on the fronts? What size tires did you have? Would 275 work? See below.

looking forward, Renn makes some really light wheels. I hope they'll make some fat 18s for us
