See No July fleet incentive for M2 competition https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1512810
It has been changed for USAA and fleet incentive is no more

Minutes after I posted this, I got a email from them with a different amount. This form shows $2,000 or $500 if finances thru BMWFS.

These discounts change based on demand for the car, when the M2 first came out it was $1,000, I got the discount and paid cash for the car (financed later through Penfed for a crazy rate). Unless something has changed you get the same discount regardless of how you pay for the car. BTW you cannot combine the USAA discount with the BMWCCA rebate.

I tried to apply the USAA 2,000 discount and my dealership informed me that USAA going forward has lowered their rates from the original 2,000 to 500 going forward for all BMWs.
Not sure if it's 100% true, but that's what I was told by the sales manager in my area. |

It is true. Check USAA website. As of July 5, all models now have $500 discount and M2/M2C excluded.

Need to read the fine print. They almost always have an expiration date, submit by date, purchase by date, or a reservation of revocation in the event the program is no longer supported. Sucks I know has happened to me in the past and I learned the hard way.

This. The fine print on my USAA certificate stated an expiration date of 2 July. The USAA rep couldn't say when or if the $2k rebate would be offered again on the M2 so that put a rush on things for me. Fortunately my M2 arrived on Friday the 29th but if it hadn't the dealer agreed to do the paperwork that day anyway just to ensure I didn't lose the rebate.

Another PenFed bonus is you can pre approved, be ready to finance and have a check in the mail in 1 business day once you have the VIN. |

I've heard great things about Pen Fed but haven't personally used them. Another one worth considering is the Navy Federal Credit Union. They actually cater to all military branches, not just Navy. Upon application approval they send you a blank check (good for up to a certain approved amount) that you present to whatever dealer you make your deal with. No VIN is needed until you make your deal. It's also important to note that any Sr. Enlisted personnel receive an additional point off the advertised interest rate (ie. a 1.9% rate is now 0.9% after point deduction) . This was disclosed to me when I called in my application. The dealership finance department simply calls the number on the check when you do your paperwork. Navy Fed gets the VIN at that point and provides an approval number for the dealer to get paid. The call was less than 5 minutes. I'll use them again!
