On that point. I wonder how usable the rear seats are. I have 2 kinds aged 10 and 8. Would they be able to squeeze in the rear seats? Thanks
My daughter is 10 and has absolutely zero issues on the rear seats of my M2 (even when I'm carving through the curves in the mountains).

Both your kids will fit on the rear seats and have a good time with daddy and mummy in the front.

New today on front page of Autocar here in UK.

Not sure if there's really anything new here / more of a general rehash of the existing rumour pot but hey, any fresh articles on hardcore M2's are always welcome on here right!

Tastes as food that hasn't been well-cooked and/or with some wrong ingredients.

Exactly that!
I?m pushing 400+ with a DP, FMIC and filter upgrade on a base M2 so would be very disappointed should a CLS come in at 400. Think it?s a bare news Monday and something to fill the page up!

What is your evidence on that? It would be very stupid to put the S55 in the CS and only price it around 80-10 000 euro more. I still think the CS will get an upgraded/tuned n55 or the 240i motor and the CSL will get the S55. Everything else would be very strange.

Sorry you think it's strange, but it's been beaten to death on this and any other CS related thread... CS = S55 with ~405hp.

What is unknown at this point is if there will be a M2 CSL (F87) which would likely be the suspected S55 with ~450 hp.

Go look at the cost to get 500+ from the s55.

You may be able to easily match a CSL for power, but it will most likely have no rear seats, lightened front seats, and carbon fiber on at the last the roof if not other places. I wouldn't be suprised if it shedded 200 lbs at least.

Two BMW badges on the rear of the M1 doesn't look right. The BMW badges behind the rear side windows on the CSL looks perfect.

Great news for the M2 in that article with the BMW source confirming M2 sales are 40-50% above expectations..

Very encouraging for further derivatives. Support will be rewarded

And you have good information? Stupid? Based on what?
Do people here really think economics is a driving factor? Look at how many M2s they make, then look at the X1, which I thought they make in the same plant. M2 doesn't matter at all in respect to AG profits.

Regardless the name, the "M2 Competition" test mules ALL got the 3.0 S55 engine with 302kW output (410hp metric - 405hp mech). A mix of M-DCT and 6MT.

We'll find out later what badge BMW is gonna put on it (Competition, CS, GTS, CSL, CRT, Whatever Edition, Unobtainium Edition, etc.).

If only 1000 units maybe they will go for it and it will be the CSL. More power less weight could be brilliant

I can't wait for the official word, so all of this conjecture can be put to rest.

Here's the M4 CS interior. I assume that on the M2 CS the base M2 seats are standard and one-piece seats à la M4 CS optional.
