Bro, don't sweat it, just keep your eye out for a beat up set, there is usually 1 good one in the lot.

I feel your pain brother. Upside is that curbing the wheels is better than dinged up sheet metal and paint scrapes.

Most likely easily fixable. I scraped a wheel getting out a space within a week of purchase. It was repaired like new. Find a skilled person. Post a pic

Once the brake dust covers it up you won't even notice!

Dealer quoted me $150 to refinish. A friend quoted $200 to repaint to any color. I'm thinking about going with option b for all 4 wheels. Then again Apex has their new Sprint line of wheels coming out soon so...

I have been thinking about a set of Apex EC-7s to make cleaning wheels less time consuming…

I went EC7. They were not too much money, look better, are lighter, more clearance for the brake and SO MUCH easier to clean.

I still kept my 788s, going to use em for track days next year, maybe get em powdered.

I curbed a 788 with similar results a couple of months ago. Had it fixed in Vegas for $100 and it came out PERFECT - you wouldn't be able to find the repaired damage. Similar wheel repair shops all over the country. Get it fixed - you'll feel better. And probably won't curb another for 20 years (which is about how long it had been for me).

Thing is I believe this to be the first wheel I've ever curbed…and I'm 62!

Yup, I definitely feel your pain...I am dreading the first blemish on my car lol. As others have said, not too bad damage wise and can be fixed. On a previous car I got a rim fixed that looked exactly like that damage, and it came back perfect.

I have this on one of mine and I have the dark tinted clear. No wheel shop around me will touch it or my daughters Honda with their dark tint clear.
