Talking Hail Mary allocation request! (edit: Scored a 112 on June4 and delivery on Aug20)

Seeking an allocation to build. I have pinged all my local dealers and 10 more dealers along the pacific coast. No dice. I can't even find a nice used M2c. Looking to lock and buy.

Anyone have any last minute allocations?

Low quality post, sorry - just desperate. We have been shopping the M2c vs. RS3 vs. Supra for a year and wife made last minute call to pull the trigger on the M2c. A month late...

Thanks!

Could be too late.
Your hope is that those being built will arrive and one will be dropped by the person who ordered. Happened to me and was lucky to snatch one (I released my allocation and posted here)
Otherwise, maybe lucky with the used one (Seattle had a few) or wait another year...

Yeah I have an ask out to BMW Bellevue, and a couple dealers in Cali. to ping me if anyone doesn't collect on delivery in hopes I can get get in. I've also been shopping used low-mileage with service records but they seem to sell day 0. BMW Seattle is in the same boat. No stock and incoming cars are spoken for. Last year has been busy and we are paying the price for not being as proactive about buying earlier in the process. If we can't locate one I'm thinking about the G87 after the refresh.

Fingers crossed!

Even though I just got the F87 and absolutely love it, I’d say that the G87 will be worth the wait!
Good luck and keep your eye on all incoming ones. The one I drive was someone’s that I snatched on the day 0.
I was just impatient to wait for my allocation turn

You could try any dealer in the US and have it shipped to the West Coast Performance Driving Center. Or find one on a ship crossing the pond and do the same. Good Luck!!!

I didn't think cars could be delivered from thermal. Am I mistaken?

I don't know, it would be worth looking into. We can take delivery at the Spartanburg SC Center.

Edit: Looks like you are right. Only other option would be purchase and ship

It’s be tough to find a new car at this stage.
A dealership I was getting my cars previously has a 2020 HS 6-speed in their pre-owned inventory. The price though is as high or more than a new one... https://www.orangecountybmw.com/used...8a6334c42d.htm

Call these places, they have the last remaining ones as of last week.

Colorado Springs
Morristown, NJ
Springfield, MO
Turnersville, NJ
BMW of San Antonio (they have 2)
Bowling Green, KY ( I don't recommend because they're asking 10k over msrp dealer markup for the allocation)
Open Road in Edison, NJ

I emailed over the weekend and submit the build but communications have been a bit slow. Waiting on the CA to get back to me today. Fingers crossed but I'm not holding out hope. Thank you for your help and info.

You are most welcome! I snagged one from Taylor bmw in GA. Most of the ones I called are still able to be configured but a lot of them said the status is 112 (I think that's the number) which basically means they're going into production any day now and it can't be customized to your specs/option.

I had a CA tell me they would not ship and would not allow for an off the lot delivery, I must take delivery at their dealership. No issues with that, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't anxious about a cross country third-party shipper handling a new car after I fly out to take delivery. I have only shipped a car once before and while it was a net positive experience, the car also wasn't a new sporty "fun" car asking to be abused.

Thanks for your help and info!

I haven't been. I'm interested in HPDE and road courses so I sold my 2015 low mileage supercharged c7 corvette and I'm replacing it with the m2 competition. I wanted a fun car that I could enjoy driving around the mtns and backroads but also take to the track. The m2 came out on top.

I picked up mine in DC and drove it to Dallas. Was an awesome drive and right in time for the break-in service (1400 miles).
