I'm not. I really don't want to wait an extra couple months to get my car. I'm in Indiana and already won't be able to drive it year round. I want to get it as soon as possible.

Finally, movement! After exactly three weeks in "quality check," today my M2C is "awaiting carrier assignment" from the factory. Whatever logjam or supply chain issue was responsible for the delay is done, at least as it relates to my vehicle. Hope all of you who are awaiting similar news get it very soon!

I'm still 112 for over two months. Was supposed to be built this week. Clearly not… I'm fine with the delay as I have ton of turmoil with a move and a new job starting and the car would be in the way with all this going on. I think I'll call BMW number to find out my new week.

SA told me week 19, geniuses said week 20 production. Mine is still just showing scheduled for production as we end week 20.

I am at the port as of this weekend, my CA said he hopes I'll make the Victoria Highway. Looks like that boat is just about to arrive in Bremerhaven so fingers crossed.

My M2 is on the Harmony Leader which left May 21st. It updated this morning on May 25th to "in transit".

I guess as we're nearing the end there is less of an audience for this, but for those still waiting mine has gone:
Apr 22 - Scheduled for production (this is the day I bought it, so was already at this point)
May 5 - Production begins
May 26 - Exterior body assembly to Quality check
May 27 - Final assembly to Awaiting carrier assignment

So I had a 1 week delay, starting on the 26th instead of the 19th, but 'fortunately' since I wouldn't have made the May 21 vessel, I'm still on track for the June 4th/8th crossing.

April 2: placed order with dealer
April 29: production complete, entered "Quality Check"
May 21: awaiting carrier assignment
May 22: dispatched from factory
May 25: at the port (Bremerhaven)

Assume it will be on a ship to Baltimore in the days ahead (if not already) and I should see it in mid-June. Lots of sleepless nights ahead!

I'd ballpark late July if there are no production delays. Who know when if there are delays. Given production for M2 and F22 are scheduled to end in June, I would think BMW would favor production of these last few cars to not extend the EOP timeline.

My M240 is currently planned for week 23 but is still in status 112. If it doesn't go 150 today I doubt week 23 will hold for me.

Dylan, assume you mean it went into the queue for production, which in my case was two weeks before assembly actually began. After which mine was stuck in "Quality Check" three weeks.

I would guess about 8-10 weeks from when production begins, based on my experience.

Production typically begins 2+ weeks prior to assembly. There are parts to collect to spec, panels to paint and plenty of items to vin tag and serialize before the car is fully assembled. That doesn't all happen in a day on the assembly line.

I entered the 'production begins' stage at the beginning of the week. I am a week 22 build. I ordered it on April 30th. I am hoping to have it early July?

May 28 - Dispatched from factory.

The Dionsys Leader has been canceled, which is annoying, so there goes the June 4th vessel option. So that means the Pleiades Leader on the 8th, with stops in Charleston on the 21st and Port Hueneme July 6th.
