Kicking myself for cancelling my allocation at the moment. Really thought I would have been able to find one, but the used M2Cs just kept going up week by week.

Do I just buy the 2021 DCT Long Beach Blue with 1,900 miles for $62k or do I try to claw and find an allocation again?

Also, does anyone know if the 3 Year BMW Maintenance is included with used car purchases if its within the first 3 years?

It doesn't, but can be reactivated for a nominal fee...$100-200 I think. However, for $899, you can upgrade to the Ultimate Care Scheduled, which extends the factory required maintenance to 5/75k. No brakes or wipers, but totally worth it for even the one extra spark plug set and diff fluid you'll hit in that period.

Just wait six months. Prices will come down.

My 2021 just hit 13K miles. I'm surprised how few miles people have on their cars. I guess I just like to drive my M2C a lot. I'm ready to offload my M2C this Fall when my replacement comes. Wonder what the market will be then.

~18,000 on my 2020. Mostly put on before the end of the year. On the fence about keeping it; I don't know what I would replace it with.

You got lowballed...

I'm being offered $57k for my 2020 M2C Exec Package with 9600 miles.
This will end badly for the used car dealers. When being offered dealer cost for a used car past the current model becomes a low ball the market is broken.

Wow I thought my 8500 miles was high for a 2021! I'd offload now if you don't need it. This can't last!

Unfortunately I need it until my replacement comes in Nov/Dec. I thought about selling it now and renting something, but it would cost $5K. Which makes it not worthwhile even if I can sell at $55K. I'm sure by the end of Fall I can get at least $50K for it lol

I don't see how the prices come down in the near future. The last batch is being made with no more allocations, and no replacement for around 2 years. Is that more or less correct?

Well, all used car prices are a bit inflated right now.

A 2019 M2 with 10k miles should not be selling for close to $60,000, and they aren't. Most are sitting.

Yes, but most people will buy the G80/G82 or something else instead like CLA45, RS3, Cayman, etc. It's not incredibly unique even if it is smaller than an M3.

All in all, i don't think any of the vehicles you named are particularly unique substitutes for an M2.

The RS3 and CLA45 are fwd biased haldex awd cars... nothing special about that, so is a Golf R. The RS3 also has an ancient interior at this point, unless you are referring to the new one that isn't out yet... Caymans are imho not interchangeable cars as they are 2 seat tiny roadsters... I think m2s are rare enough (especially comps) to continue to have good value at least until early 2023 when the G87 comes out... with that, we still have no idea what a G87 will cost or weight. The G80 went up in both categories quite a bit.

Don't get me wrong, I do think value will hold well, but mostly because of the current market and supply.

Who is offering you that? I'd sell my 19 M2C Exec with 9600 miles for around that!

Pretty close to 3 years. In September we will have had it for 3 full years already! Hard to believe. Build date was 06/18, so it's one of the early North American market bound cars. Zero issues since new, ~12k miles on it.
