Excellent question. We always have a few wrapped cars at cars and coffee, including some really nice cars, and within 6 feet is becomes obvious it's a wrap because there are inevitable peels and edge lifts. PPF does it too on sharp edges, but at least it's clear.

As a renowned wrapper. How is yours holding up? I'm not interested in doing this to my CS, but I'm after a pristine V8 Vantage. Some are shit colours like white but better cars. Hence my line of questioning.

The M2C has a lot of the clear XPEL all over it that my friends shop did (def not me!. It's holding up great. I've only had to replace the panel in front of the right rear wheel on the flare. I got nicked up really bad on a freeway where it was too big to self heal or something, but it saved the paint. Saved a couple chips in the hood and those areas blended back after I left it out in the sun.

The same shop also did the X5M and had to do a ton of custom cuts, that's holding up great too. The shop owner and his main guy are big on attention to detail.

These cars also go back once a year for the ceramic coat booster, so that's when any PPF pieces get swapped out.
