Try this trick - works for me on both the M2c and in my Golf R, which also is lacking in thigh support. Tilt the seat bottom back, further than you might think would be comfortable. Just got back from a trip that was 7 hours in each direction - no issues with comfort, other than the hard seat bottom.
yep...this definitely works. especially once you get the lumbar support dialed in.

i too love the thigh extenders in my F22 sportline, but i think the M2C seats are overall more comfortable than the F22.
