Woodward Dream Cruise

Curious if anyone on here attends the annual Woodward Dream Cruise? If so, does BMW CCA participate? Thanks!

I saw a couple of M2Cs. Nothing official that I'm aware of though.

supersam and I were down there in our M2s. Didn't see too many BMWs at all. The dream cruise has always been more about American classic muscle cars than anything else.

EDIT: If there was something the BMWCCA was doing we probably would have heard about it. The local chapter (Motorcity) didn't post anything that I've seen.

I kinda figured it would be heavily weighted towards Detroit iron. It seems like a great weekend of all things cars. I’m planning to take my boys one of these years as it looks like a great event. Thanks for the details.

Better to be a spectator than a driver IMO. You end up in bumper to bumper traffic the whole time while driving.

Good point. I’d look to find a place to park and watch. Looks like the manufacturers set up some nice displays too so I’d have to stop by those as well.

Any tips on where to set up shop to watch?

Not really. Lol.

Ive only been a couple times.

Generally royal oak area is nice, if you want a bit more rowdy crowd head to pontiac.
