18x10 et40 fitment?
Anyone try a 18x10 et40 fitment? Friend has a set with slicks sitting around, so thinking of using them if they'll fit. I'm on stock suspension except eibach springs and GC plates -2 in front
Thanks in advance!

No issue for the rear of course. The fronts may have brake clearance issues depending on the wheels and you would likely need to run a spacer. I'm running 18X9 +29 with 275/35's and no rubbing - shock suspension.

It depends on the wheels. Not all 18" wheels will clear the M2 brake calipers.
Barring that, The rears should be fine, but you'll likely need large spacers in the front. |

Thanks for the replies. I'll let y'all know how they fit. I have a few sets of spacers ready.
Wheels are BBS BMW GT4's by the way: http://alekshop.com/products/bbs_racing_wheels_bmw_gt4

Fronts will need a spacer for sure, ideal offset in the front is around 27-30 for a 18x10

I bought a set of these BBS wheels. GT4 RE1243.
The wheels were used, and unfortunately one of them were slightly bent. Even if it just a small damage, the rim rubs the metal weights on the OEM rear brake pads. In other words, it is a very tight squeeze! The wheels will however fit on the front axle, of course with spacers mounted. Not sure how wide spacers you will need. |
