Another M2C today sold for $70k

https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rkg...m2-competition

More like $74 if you add in buyer fees. I mean it was basically brand new. But still. Just crazy.

I keep thinking at this rate I also should sell mine, but I don't know what I'd do instead.

Mine is a '21 with 6k miles and 6MT and the "special edition" package with the 763M wheels. And PPF and ceramic. I wonder if I could do better than this one did?

i will say 2 things-

1) It will be hard to find anything else for a decent price unless you just don't want a sports car right now.
2) Special isn't really special and won't add value to the car outside of the 763m wheels.

1). That's what's holding me back
2) agreed- the wheels are the big thing.

In a similar boat.

I've got 3k on mine, 6MT with front PPF and rockers PPF.

I'm considering selling both of my cars. E46 M3 and this current M2C.

I'd be happy if I could get $68k, walk away with a wash then come back at the end of '22 or start of '23 and maybe get into a G87 M2.

As I mentioned in another thread, I just have a feeling the G87 M2 is going to be really damn good.

A local dealer recently offered to buy me out of '18 100% for the car and every mod I have, which is pretty unheard of, but I had to decline because there just isn't anything out there for the same money that I'd rather have.

I'm an immediate cash buyer if someone wants to sell their M2C today for a reasonable price. Will buy from anywhere in the country, in-person payment and pickup.

But what if I told you when you finally get a g87 in a couple of years you could resell it and put a couple of bucks in your pocket? Then you could use that money to get the h87 in 2029? It's going to be even faster than the g87 and the tech will be a huge upgrade.

Yea I agree w this... its a bizarre world we live in where people always want the newest shiniest thing... there is always something newer and better.

Many at this point don't even consider how heavy the new G87 will be based on the G22 nor the fact that it will have that bizarre new Tesla dash w idrive 8.

I don't mind the new G80 because it performs incredibly well but to say I want it would be a stretch- its the heaviest m3 ever and is still butt ugly in the front.

I think the H87 vapor ware will be electric.

Why would you sell? Because of inflation?

That $70k doesn't buy what it did a year ago - especially when it comes to cars. If you're happy with the car, HANG ONTO IT! There's good reason other people are lusting after it - it's an awesome machine.
