Bought BM3 Flash, OBD Agent and Vorsteiner Wheels used...overall 1/2 price...$1300 total
Nittos lowering springs and spacer $900 Exterior mods, Replica Spoiler and Rear Diffuser $900 IND Cosmetic kit $250 Seibon Carbon Hood $900 Engine mods Cheap VRSF DP, CP and I/C...$1000 JB4 and Meth $900 Nitrous and Fuel Sytem $800 Intake $275 For $300 DEI C02 IC Cooler i can get my IAT temp to -10 - -40* F on a hot summer day... With my $200 exhaust dump I cn spool instantely, make 10+ whp along the entire power band and avoid tickets... SO uner $8000, saved thousands in installation, and based on 1st gen N55s with dryshots...My car with a 75 wetshot, stock boost and specific Nitrous tune will beat a PS2 M2 down that track...I think itll make similar power but in an efficient 5k+ RPM...Where it counts...Plus I remove it fast and use it sparingliy.. Any my car with FBO and BM3 Stage 2 should be able to take any simialrly setup car with lower intake temps and wide open exhaust... Overall I think Ive done well and aside from vorsteiner front lip and some side skirts Im done. Shes a few hundred pounds lighter 75whp higher than stock...200whp with nitrous/fuel/meth (Hopefully) and she looks good doing it...

which install specifically? no dyno yet...pretty good idea of what its been putting down (on the lower side bc the DT issues) but once its repaired i will dyno...
BTW ordered: Carbon Engine cover Dinan Carbon intake front cabon lip carbon side skirts Unfortunetely My Father passed away last tuesday...he was a tight fam member and best friend, especially since my bro uncle n best friends have all died te last few years... obviously devvestated but my family on that side ill leave at did well for themselves n im the sole air so a reg daily is due n stage3 turbo, pi and some other goodies r due for the m2 (since 2 accidents ill now keep forever..) so good stuff comin up...even considering s55 swap.

Carbon Engine Cover & Intake..
Can't Wait to dress up the Engine bay a bit...going to wire brush and polish all tthe smooth metal surfaces and clean the rough ones...replace some worn looking tape and wire loom...Add the Ble Oil cap and some other minor accesories, and considering carbon upper strut brace from f80..
For now these and a cleaning should really look nice under the hood...

Just another "lurker" checking in...
Where are we? Also a question on your springs/spacer set up. Really dig those wheels BTW. I'm limited to stock wheels for now. Plan on H&R's and spacers. I've seen all sizes used and plenty of conflicting results (rubbing or not). I see you've got 15mm F/B. Any rubbing? I know our wheels/offsets are different, but with your input, I could probably calculate the ideal size. Again, on H&R springs, I'd like the widest setup w/o ANY rubbing. Thanks, in advance and looking forward to your build update. |

Car is FINALLY in the shop...A local clean BMW specialist shop, Non dealer...Spoke at length with the younger New model BMW expert, seemed to have a solid grasp of ICOM and Ista D+....Waiting on diagnoses...
Obviously electrcal issues (MOST LIKELY CAUSED BY EnzoRacingwho unlocked my dme to tuneit in 2016...Got no extra power out of the car and gave it back to me with misfire issues (he said he accidentally used too much ethanol and itd go away) Of course it didnt , It slowly got worse....eating spark plugs every 500 miles, multiple DT MAlfunctons daily, misfires, power loss... then 3 months ago started running on 4/5 cyl...enzo refused to help me...i couldnt even pay him to work on it....a signal that he did damage knew it, got it outta the shop, and now wants nothing to do w it... a month and a half ago it took a shit and sputters and shuts off before that a day of crazy spoke spilling out that scared me bc although t mostly smelt of fuel it had a bit of a sweet coolant smell...worring me of a head gasket or even crack in the head from the misfires which wouldve happened inside a cylinder and been a pre detonation and physically damagaed the engine... anyway all just speculation, ill know what im dealing with in a day or two hopefully and ll FINALLY have my car back...

Car is 110% for the first time since my "ENZOTUNE"...turns out he did damage DME and somehow fried coils 5 and 6 which got worse a worse...replaced both coils and ALL fuel injectors were failing ...
Got ripped the F off....7 months and $4k to replace all 6 injectors, new DME, factory coding on injectors and DME (claimed they replaced battery which was a lie...but I did the 2 coils and put stock oem plugs back in from NGKs.. reflashed , and holy SHHHH+++++T....they really made progress from first OTS stg 2 map until this version...Cars running perfect for first time since 3k miles...7k miles now... \https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO_lBh093FM

With meth injection, water intercooler sprayer and JB4, you have way more potential than BM3 STG2. I'd use BM3 OTS as BEF and target 19psi flat with JB4 map6. It'd be an ultra responsive and powerful beast.
The only thing that's really stressed with your setup would be the turbo though. Quote:

But when I think about turbo upgrade, the little boy comes back and tells me to go big or go home and get a huge ball bearing turbo custom....run 25PSI on 110aki VP and a custom tune... with the fueling upgrades...Something big enough to have real lag which actually protects the tranny...well see...b4 the c02 and exhaust come off tho i do promise to get to a dyno to finally prove that both together on 93 are good for 20whp min... I dynoed my FBO Bigger hotside Evolution 8 back in like 04 and the exhaust openening up alone added almost 30awhp.... i still had the charts...this engine it has less effect bc the stock exhaust is so free flowing vs evo but the c02 in the summer makes heat soak a prob u never have to deal with again....done ling my doc just put me on adderall for some reason, and my blabbering goes from bad to even worse lol...
