BUying Motorsports parts

Hi All,

How do I buy Motorsports parts without providing a VIN? I still have a warranty and I don't want any pushback from BMW if I need work.

Thanks

Ray

My dealer was pretty cool, I just gave them a part number and was good to go. That said, it may be a part found on non motorsport cars
