Car control clinic at Lime Rock. Had the time of my LIFE! So much so, I signed up for track day at Thompson on 5/6 & another CCC @ Lime Rock in June.

I think I'm gonna need another M2... One for street & one for track. heh heh

There were 2 parts - the wet skid pad/learning to go sideways & this CRAZY hairpin S-curve that changed elevations. The hairpin curves, you really think your car (you) can't possibly make those curves at high speed. Once I trusted the instructor & just did it - HOLY SH!T!!!!

I was smiling the entire 3 hours I spent on that track. And I am still high from the event. HUGE adrenaline rush and I can say I am 100% hooked. I signed up for a second CCC in June & then the HPDE track day at Thompson Speedway on 5/6.

I feel cheated for never having done this before. LOL

Know this feeling all too well. I have my instructors tagline of “It’ll hold, It’ll hold” seared in my memory as my perception of physics completely melted.

The gap between what the car is capable of, and what even a decent driver is capable of is mind blowing.

I don't know what he used, but it was definitely no cell phone. LOL Had a really nice, huge lens on it the times I spied him on a hill or bank taking pics.

I assumed that it was not a cell-phone

But anyways: It looks like soo much fun and your explanation of the driving session sounds like i definitely should try that as soon as possible, too!
