Finding your cars phone number

So like most people I have the executive package on my car which comes with a free three months trial for a WiFi hotspot.

While trying to set this up at https://myvehicle.att.com I noticed that I need the cars phone number which I didn't know. A quick search on the forums suggests to push the SOS button and ask whoever picks up for the number. There is another way. Logging into https://connecteddrive.bmwusa.com reveals the needed number. Not a clue why this only shows on the web and not in the BMW Connected app on iOS.

Wifi hotspot is not part of my mobile plan which is provided by my company. Also, I paid for the feature so why not try it out?

Since the "hotspot" feeds off the cellular network, it has to have a number. Maybe if you need to activate it after the trial, it could come in handy.

According my researcher, you have to contact AT&T at 1-888-333-6118 or BMW ConnectDrive customer service, by pressing the "SOS" button, in the vehicle, right next to the rear view mirror, to recover the mobile number assigned to your vehicle.

Or try this:

I'm sorry. Did you read my post? Yes, you can press the SOS button and ask, but you can also look it up on the web.

I should of been more clear with my reply, I was reiterating the options to retrieve service number, including the iDrive menu option to display it, which I didn't know was available until today.
