Awesome! I did reach out to Motowerks but I have had better experiences with the Minnetonka dealership.

Sounds like you have family/friends here? Hopefully it'll be a nice white holiday!

Yep, have family there and will be taking a road trip from VA to MN in mid-December. Already put on snow shoes for the M2C and will be good with whatever storm we will inevitably get. You going to drive your M2C all year round?

Looks like we are boat mates, my SO car is also onboard the Serenity Ace, though when I look up on Marine Traffic, the ETA is now 12/3.

Sorry all, meant to update. Looks like my delivery is going to be on December 7th at the Performance Center. Working out all sorts of kinks right now.

In snow, no. But I just got some PPF on and with a ceramic coating (probably spring due to cold temps), it'll be pretty safe from the salt. So I'll drive it on sub-0 temps as long as its not snowing!!

If you make it over (and we're still not on lock down) I can take you out for a cup of coffee!

Nice - also saw the date change to the 3rd.

Getting pretty darn close to 1 year since I put the deposit down (Dec 20th)

My tentative route home...1200 mile break in is at Beaumont BMW, seeing family in Prescott, AZ will not happen if there's snow. Looking forward to Big Bend National Park and crossing the Rio Grande into Mexico at Boquillas Crossing (not with the car).

I get to Spartanburg on Sunday the 6th. Delivery is the 7th. Car goes immediately to Extreme Colors Auto Spa for full correction, ceramic and front end clear bra (they do BMW PC cars). On the 8th I have private track training with Donnie Isley at the Performance Center. On the 9th I have Land Rover off-road experience at the Biltmore venue in Asheville. On the 10th I may do a 1 day M school. Friday, the 11th I pick up the car from Extreme Colors. Saturday I set off.

Nightly stops are:

Saturday: Fernandina Beach, FL (I just want a picture of the car in front of the Atlantic)
Sunday: Destin, FL
Monday: Beaumont, TX (break-in service Tuesday am)
Tuesday: Uvalde, TX
Wednesday: Lajitas, TX (I think)
Thursday: Wilcox, AZ (or El Paso, TX)
Friday: Prescott, AZ (or somewhere outside Phoenix)
Saturday: Palos Verdes, CA

That's amazing. Given where we stand with covid, you've made a really special US delivery experience. Nicely done.

Thanks. We'll see what happens, but the road trip was the main reason for buying this car. I have to make some sort of salvage happen.

Apologies for the somewhat off-topic but having been in a similar situation I have been following this thread with interest. After several postponed ED dates for my Tanzanite M340i I also "settled" for a PCD with Donnie Isley.
I took delivery on 11/16 and arrived home 11/24.

Except for some sightseeing around Asheville/Austin/San Antonio I had to hustle in order to arrive home before Thanksgiving. I took a southern route to avoid any potential early winter weather -- the net result was 3650 miles and nary a drop of precipitation the entire trip.

Congrats and have a great trip!!

My status changed back to "at the port" so it looks like Serenity Ace arrived on time in Baltimore - now it's a customs and dealer destination game.

I'm taking delivery about 30 miles from Baltimore so hopefully it's soon.

No idea. I've been waiting for an "escalation specialist" from BMW NA to call me back since Monday (I was told be EOD).
