Just called my dealer and requested an allocation. Crossing fingers it's not over $90k!!! Hopefully BMW will have learned with the M3 CS and M4 CS and price these right, although I think these are a little more justified being an M2. $75k? $80k?

LOL thats what almost every publication said about the M3 CS. "Unfortunately, they are all spoken for!" I got my M3 CS 6 months later as they were never spoken for and they sat on the lots.

Seriously, I want one but with such a limited number I don't know if any will be left for the fire sales. Regardless, got my place in line just in case the price is right and my dealer said no markup. The M3 CS was easy to dismiss because it was just so overpriced I had already told myself "no way". The fire sales changed my mind, but the M2 CS is hard to pass. I think with this limited number, and the reputation of the M2, it might be the M car to own.

Nope — that's a pretty massive deal that will create a lot of NVH. Maybe the M4 and prev M3 GTS were.

I'm afraid it will be irrelevant. With limited numbers the dealers will ask for six figures.

In all seriousness — BMW needs to price this very high to keep demand in check. My guess is the entry cost will be in the low six figures with markups.
Just so they can discount them by 10-15k when nobody buys them?

Sounds like a great marketing plan.
Said nearly every dealer in America. I think this is nearly guaranteed ( initial pricing strategy ). Remember each dealer will only have 1 or 2 initially on average. Not a huge risk to wait it out.

At 500 units in the US BMW may price this (delta) similar to the M4 GTS. If that's the case then we may see them sit either way markup or not.

Hmm, this pic clue-in that M2CS has autonomous driving? Car is obviously moving, yet there is no driver.

An amalgam of F8x and m performance catalogue parts

I like the idea but can't help feel it's a bit late in the cycle, not just for m2, but even the s55

This is no 1M

A lot of people saying $100k price tag...why do you think that? Why would the m2 cs be the same price as the m3/4 cs? Mid 80s prob more realistic.
