Yesterday I determined that the stock exhaust does indeed fit in the back of the car with the seats down (we weren't sure if it would when I had it removed, so it had been sitting at the shop for 3 weeks). It's a bit tricky to get the udder through the trunk opening, but it fits. Just in case anyone needs to know that...

Now I just have to find some place to put it in the garage where it won't be in the way...hmmm...

I'm glad the M2C works on long road trips. That is a concern of mine as I will be driving 5-6 hours a few times a month

After taking delivery Tuesday, today I put on color-matched side reflectors, gloss black/color-matched side markers, and European visors for that clean look.

On another note I ordered the red M1/M2 buttons before I got the car and didn't notice it already had a red Start/Stop button before I included the add on, so I doubt I can return it since I want to keep the buttons. If you're looking for an ignition button let me know.

I find that trips at highway speeds are quite comfortable. It's the potholes at slow speeds around town that are annoying.

Taken a few 6+ hour drives, the car is brilliant. Comfy when cruising, and fire up the M buttons when you need to pass someone. This car rips at highway speeds.

How slippery are those pedals when your shoes are a bit wet?

I'd love to swap mine but it's raining for days.

I have those same pedals, and somehow it seems they actually improved traction. My foot doesn't slip off the rubber pedals anymore.

995 miles and finally a ride on a lift NOT associated with the motor replacement lol. Preparing to install Fall-Line oil cooler protective plate and drop the exhaust to paint black.

I'm even more traumatized after staring at the exhaust at eye level which is too bad because the black chrome finishers do look nice (although a large diameter would be cool). I'm thinking MPE or Remus Sport + AA Mid in 2020. Based on the diagrams and coupling clamps in the ETK, I was expecting the rear exhaust to be separate from the center section but that is not the case. The ETK must just contain the replacement/repair version of the parts.

While it is up, I might grab an Autosolutions SSK. Not many good driving days left around here until April.....may not even make it to break-in service.

Yep, imagine trying to ship a full single piece exhaust?

And after manufacture who would need a complete 1 piece exhaust??

I took both my GT3 and M2 to Road Atlanta today. I mainly wanted to ensure the M2's tires werent rubbing under heavier stress.

What I found was the M2 feels like a boat in comparison to the Gt3. Probably best to just let the M2 be the great daily driver that it is and allow the Gt3 to be the great track car it is. I basically did 1 lap in the car and was done with it, its not very confidence inspiring going from GT3 into the M2.

Still fun though.

LOL you can't even put M2C is the same room as a GT3.

GT3 is a low volume, niche motorsport derived car for the road costing 3 times as much.

M2C is a cheap-ish mass produced road car, small family coupe with a few tweaks.

The idea of comparing the two is comical.

Breaking news, non-race car doesn't drive like race car that's 400lbs lighter.....

Christmas came early! Picked up the M front spoiler, looks sick!

2 questions for those who purchased new: are fasteners supposed to provided and which areas did you apply the adhesive? TIA

The fasteners and betalink are separate. The ETK lays out the additional parts needed (obviously the rear spoiler is your choice).
