Best place to sell my M2c

Gentlemen, thanks in advance for your feedback. I’m about to sell my Sunset 2020 M2c with 18k miles. I was curious what’s the place to get a fair value for it. I was thinking auto trader?

I think it depends on if you're buying another car or not and what state you live in. For example, I traded in my old car for my new one because in my state, you only pay taxes on the difference between the old and new car.
If you're looking to straight up sell, I would make sure that sites like cars.com have your car listed, to get the most traffic. Good luck with the sale!

Sorry to hear you're parting ways with your M2C, hopefully to greener pastures. I've had good results with both Auto-Trader and CarMax. Good luck

Autotrader to me has always had the best interface and most volume, definitely my go to when looking so I say there!

Once up there, you can cross list on FB Marketplace on the more rare chance you can snag someone local…but for higher ticket items I’ve had less luck on there.

Good luck!

The M2C is holding decent value relative to the rest of the car market. I always check with Carmax first because it’s so easy to sell if you get a decent offer. Double check their offer against the other online car places. Carmax won’t be the highest, but it still might be worth it due to the ease of the process and avoiding the headaches of a private sale.

I sold a previous non-BMW performance car on Cars and Bids. They were easy to work with, the car sold for a fair price, and the buyer pays all the fees to the website.

Are you buying something else? If so, just trade it in. Nice and easy.

Depends on your expectations: if you're lucky, you can get maybe mid 50s if you're super patient.

Mine was a 2019 with 14k miles, and was offered low 40s by Carmax. Carvana was the better offer in my case.

Luckily, I sold it to an awesome forum member for a price we were both happy with. New owner flew cross country and drove it back home.

Not trying to hijack but I'm in the same boat as OP. What is a realistic selling price (not asking price) for a '21 M2C, 11,500 miles, Executive package, slick roof, 763 M wheels, and the OEM carbon fiber rear diffuser? Anyone???
