Most don't know about the head ports...myself included...I comp tested first..and then asked Steve at Wedge, he pointed me in the right direction. It was a little stressful for sure..
I will check out your YouTube..cheers..

Also got weird coast/low load whistle...Never had on ps2...changed dv 3 times, run without bms pipe...no difference..goes when boosting.

Well got a new revision this morning and seeing 23-24psi still sitting in the low 90% on wgdc. Car feels faster and pulls really well so progress is going well. Thought aid share some logs.

awesome. Any reason why you're not running much past 5600rpm? Im typically doing 3k-6500k logs. Its like 95 deg and raining a lot, so I can't get good logs...You running meth now? See your IAT dropping hard.

Most of my logs are to like 6200 rpm but in 5th gear I sometimes end the log early cause thats like 125mph, so a little fast for street testing lol

Yeah I took my direct port meth off so just running a 500cc jet in my charge pipe thats on a variable pump and its speed is determined by boost. So its at full spray by 10psi.

Looking back at this, how did you manage to run the BOV vacuum line off of the intake manifold, are you running a really light spring? I thought Valvetronic doesn’t create much vaccum.

It doesnt create any under boost but when you are off the throttle it creates enough to open my blow off valve. I get some turbo surge sometimes but its a light spring. I think its yellow.

n55 swr Pure 750

Hi guys, I'm here to share my experience with the Pure Turbo 750. The tune is made by me via BM3, on a customer's car which has 291,000 km, I did a tune with only 24.5 psi in the top end , because we didn't want to create a lot of stress on the engine given the amount of mileage of the car. Here is the result at an extremely high altitude, more than 750m.

Did you have a chance to dyno the car?

Judging by those numbers..if you ran boost at 30-31 psi and good da you would be doing a sub 5... must be a unicorn

just a small update. Switched from a catted cts downpipe to a catless. It helped with the wgdc issue I was having. Also went to b58 coils and f8s plugs. Car is running strong yet still have a issue at 6500 rpms under hard accell. No codes, rail pressure stays at 2900, timing looks ok. Maybe a torque limit or something else...not sure.

Have a stage2.5 fp waiting to go in.

Change of duty cycle? Quite a bit. 5-10% high 90’s to low 90’s. Also hit harder/sooner..Seeing high teens of psi at 3500rpm.. after my tuner does a revision I’ll post another log. But for sure, get a catless dp if you can. Next is 3.5” mid pipe and opening the dp up some to match it…

No!

330ish elevation in NC USA…

Currently targeting 21psi and going above it. Jumped to 25psi at 4krpm and throttle closed/wg opened…Currently revising tune. Wgdc is about 90%..
Keep in mind, this isn’t revised(tune) for the new additions. Was from when we thought there was a boost leak.

ok, I understand, you are just at the beginning of the tune adjustments. if this interests you to compare later in your tune progress , here is what I observed for the Pure 750 ewg , in general i can see the wastage dc around 90-91% with 25.5 - 26 psi top end, in very high altitudes like 700 meters above sea level.

Who is tuning and who is building the exhaust? I wish I could have found someone to do a 3.5 for me - but I wasn't going to pay $1500 for a mid pipe.

Local guy Keahi is currently tuning it.

A local welder is building the exhaust. I'm doing full exhaust which will be more than $1500. First quote was ridiculous. Modding the cts downpipe so it necks to 3.5" instead of 3" and then 3.5 to rear diff where it will split to dual 3" with quad M tips. A few bullet mufflers/resonators added in.

Thinking of making a few extra setups since no one will make them for us....They do for the n54's and s55's...but not us...

3.5" is definitely great for power..I would consider decent mufflers or valved system...good chance it will be loud and drone..is m2 muffler same as m4??? If so there would be plenty of flow in the standard back muffler.

The M3/M4/M2comp (S55) share the same muffler, it’s a dual exhaust from the turbos to the back box.

The N55 m2 is a single pipe into a completely different muffler.

25.5 psi log

here is another log at 25.5 psi, with stock downpipe but empty inside, the customer chose to do it like this to be more discreet in the event of an inspection. Log made at high altitude.
