Hi guys after tons of hours developing one of mine best retrofit here the first worldwide M2 pre lci dkg fully working Oem cs drivelogic software, mdm and gear speed adjustable manual and Drive. Zero issue. Zero error!

As requested i try pre lci kombi and didn't work.

This is an option if you want to be able to control the dct even more than what thor allows.

This is oem retrofit. Need wiring also not only coding.

Could you let us know how it was done coding wise - hardware wise that should be easy?

My guess is there is a possibility of FA coding in most if not all of the competition pack features because VO must be different between the og and competition, otherwise a comparison between the egs ncd files will tell what must be done. If there are more modules that must be put in then coding will be done accordingly.

You reference pre-LCI, Photos obviously show to be M2 C cluster and shifter.
Are you indicating that you need to change these items along with this process to achieve this ?

To reply to all the right questions done:

Yes mine is pre lci, i retrofit m2c cluster not related to this retrofit but because i didn't like the pre lci colors setup. During days is very hard to focus speed and at night all orange is very non M car…
I am 99% sure that m2 lci kombi just need to perform update at least 11/18 istep.
About pre lci kombi is in my mind, even for me is useless, try to make it work. As soon as i had time i will try it.

About the whole job is flashing plus coding, as egs4 can only be flashed. And rewiring the center console. My setup as unfortunately is a hardware change the gws, is with also gws conpetition. I found it at good price around 250eur. Same as before is possible that just to know i will try also oem n55 gws.
In that case flash it is not recommended if meeded because of hardware change. I generally avoid this kind of flashing to prevent ecu damaged.

Some of us on this Fourm have spent oodles of cash on our beautiful F 87’s as I know I have invested to much but what is it to continue to enjoy this platform lol!

The cluster except for 8k limit on rpm is totally identical but better and modern.

The Pre Lci kombi doesn't show the gear speed. Lci is supposed to be ok

Guys after several months of testing I must say that competition software is more balanced in confort and sport use.
I Run CS oem sw but is very very aggressive at speed 1 is like speed 3 in competition to make idea.
Cs level 3 is so aggressive, i think is sensed if the car run stage 3 500 hp so I decided to come back to competition sw and is definitely my favorite setup.

Last never never any issue in both software. So is defintely a very nice upgrade the car is another car now you can choose the perfect speed for the driving situation

Hi. I also want to make Drivelogic fully work in M2 LCI.
I've read several times of your whole post and what I understood is like below.

-Update the Istep version to the latest firmware
-Change the cover trim of gear selector to the F8x part which has drivelogic switch in it
-Need 3 wiring to the shift pattern switches
-Some codings and flash to EGS4 module

But I couldn't get instrucions about wiring, coding, and flashing.
Q1) Can you offer more details about wiring?
Q2) Do I have to flash EGS4 firmware of M2 Competition?
Q3) What kind of codings needed?

It would be really helpful if I can get further informations about these.
