I have been given an opportunity to respray my M2 LCI, and with the additional option to totally change the colour but can't decide on what to change to! I'm looking at the SMB, Sakhir orange or Sunset orange.

Please add your input and help me decide!

Generally looking for a deep colour with black shifts just like the original LBB, not a paint expert so please excuse my poor paint terminology!!

I really like Estroil Blue Metalic. A much better blue than LBB.

What color is it now? I would be inclined to stick with a similar color as on the registration. You should go for a color that isn't offered on the 2 or m2. Grigio telesto, Laguna Seca Blue, Speed Yellow, Sakhir Orange would be my choice in that order.

Its currently LBB, but needs to be repainted and is paid for. BMW told me any colour I want !
I'm liking the Sakhir orange, as I love colours that shift dramatically with different lighting. Can't find much other similar shifting colours so far

Choose "Pure metal silver" if you can choose any color. EXPENSIVE color.

My choice would be "Marina bay blue metallic"" if I was given a respray on my 230i.

It's personal choice. Kinda hard to go wrong with Sakhir Orange but I would also consider:
Avus blue
Fire Orange
Java Green

I was looking at sunset orange at first but then it’s available for the competition model, then thought about San Marino and Tanzanite, looking at videos and pics but maybe I’ll need to see it irl as they aren’t doing it for me. It’s the colour shifting ones that gets me going!

Colour is a personal thing, but why the heck would you go with a colour that is already offered on the generic 2 series??? Talk about a wasted opportunity. If it is truly ANY colour you want...look into the Porsche palette for starters...or Lamborghini has some pretty nice colours as well.

I'm assuming you are talking about Sunset orange? It's that's the case I would have to agree with you and which made me lean more towards the Sakhir orange.
I did take your advice though, BMW paint representative did say give him any paint outside BMW's palette, and I will be the happiest guy if they manage McLaren's volcano orange, that colour is
