OFFICIAL: M2C Exhaust Options MegaThread

I've been struggling with what all of our options are so far for aftermarket exhausts. I have taken the liberty to consolidate it here. If I am missing any, please post below and I will include it in this post. Since some of these exhausts have multiple options I left prices out. I can include later if people are really interested.

In alphabetical order:

Active Autowerk M2 Competition Exhaust (can be paired with separate midpipe, single path)
Link to Product

AFE Power M2 Competition Exhaust (catback, single path)
Link to Product

Akrapovic (can buy just axleback or catback (basically axleback plus their midpipe, dual path)
Link to Product

Eisenmann M2 Competition Exhaust (both catback (race version) and axleback, dual path)
Link to Product

Lightweight (both catback and axleback, dual path)
Link to Product

GT2 Meisterschaft
Link to Product

Miltek M2 Competition Exhaust (has both full and axleback options)
Link to Product

Supersprint M2 Competition Exhaust (all options, dual path)
Link to Product

Remus M2 Competition Exhaust (seems to only be axleback? dual path)
Link to Product

Glad to see you have the LightWeight Performance exhaust on there. That's the one I've put my money on.

Don't forget, Miltek's exhaust is coming out shortly.

I decided to leave off companies until they have an exhaust you can actually buy... once it’s available I’ll add it!

You forgot a few systems:

- Supersprint
- Milltek (soon)
- FI (soon)
- Manhart Performance
- Zaustworx

Remus is only slip-on.

AFE & AA (or any other single midpipe) is the only way to fix the rasp bucket S55, should add that as well

Supersprint I added, Milltek and FI haven't come out with one yet so once they do I'll add them, and I can't find anything online for where to buy or how to buy or even information about the M2 Competition exhaust for Manhart or Zaustworx. Maybe it's my nonexistent ability to search in German?

Manhart -> https://www.manhart-performance.de/n...h_step2%5D=223

Zaustworx -> http://www.exhaustworx.co.uk/

Both pages are in English

KK Automobile -> https://www.kk-automobile.de/ They have a midpipe for the M2C, but is it not yet mentioned on their website.

While i am waiting for my remus exhaust, i try 2 options with valves.
I opened valves with bimmerlink app, and still m2c electronics controls the valves when you go higher speed(it is not permenent open), then i try to open the valves and took the cables from valves down and wow, so much better sound!
At cold start i would say 20-25% better.
On drive a little less but i would say about 15-20% better.

you missed a great value one, which is on its way to me now...

The Eisenmann Race exhaust:

Name: yes please.jpg
Views: 23998
Size: 85.3 KB

Retains all the emissions crap, loses a ton of weight and still uses the factory valves so you can creep around silently.
Did I mention it is super light and Eisenmann are renowned for making the best sounding exhausts on M cars.

Also its cheap at 1800 euros.

I was thinking about matching this exhaust with the active autowerke single midpipe. I’m more interested in the weight savings. My ears arent really particular about the sound. I wonder if they would match up.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, plus the VRSF downpipe. I'm just waiting for some feedback/sound clips from someone who has this piece.

Did you open the valves and unplug the connectors?

Yes there are valves on that one. Either side of the tiny muffler you see a bracket for the valve controllers.

Clearly did not update their website. They only have a slip-on available for the M2C. It is on their test car and I featured it here in the forums.

With this are you keeping the OPFs?
Are there any sound clips / videos of this one?

Has anyone installed the AFE power exhaust? Any sound clips? This seems like a budget option as well, especially for a catback.
