This car is so blah regardless of what color you choose. It's stumpy like a toddler's running shoe and the back is all kinds of terrible. Perhaps it's because with all of the safety features built into cars now they just can't make a 'small' coupe that looks right. The reason I come to this conclusions is that both the S3 (RS3 I imagine will look even better - more aggressive) and CLA45 (sedans) look leagues better than this IMO.

For those of you saying the MG doesn't show the lines enough I totally beg to differ- I thought so too until I got my 435GC but (at least in sunlight) MG maybe the best color BMW has right now out of the "standard" palette. Doesn't show dust that bad (excellent here in Texas where everything seems to be under construction at all times) doesn't show swirls, is metallic without having a "disco ball exploded on it" look and has great depth. Just sparkles in the sun for sure. Shows the "organic" lines of the current BMW design ethos extremely well- will look great on the M2 IMO.

Sure, people argue that this color is boring and hides the lines, but I think that is a good thing. In my opinion, the M2 is hideously overstyled. And I like it when some of the overexaggerated lines are laid back.
The color I'd go for.

MG on the M2 looks better than I thought it would, but it still is a boring color. I agree. Y U NO Donington Grey if it already has LBB?

It's hilarious the reactions people are having over Mineral Grey. Most people on the forums KNOW what mineral grey looks like because they've seen it on various cars in various lighting situations.
What we have here is the WORST possible lighting, and a car photographed from the WORST possible angles. So what do those 2 things combine to make? Bland, unflattering pictures. I give no offense to the original poster of the photos, and instead I thank him for finally showing us a color different from LBB.......but these particular photos do no justice to the silver/grey/black spectrum that is created by a cool color like mineral grey. Cool car, bad pics, bad lighting. Not much to see here, the car still kicks ass.

Variations on this color are offered by many auto manufacturers. It is rather stealthy.

The M2 on the other hand, even from the photos, looks like a pitbull. It's lower and significantly wider than its brother, the M235i......therefore it will have a great presence on the road, but obviously it's difficult for some to appreciate in the photos. But man, you really don't like it. How do you feel about the clownshoe M Coupe I wonder? lol.

I guess some have left Camp MG because of those Winter Mode pictures.
I was in Camp MG. I stay in Camp MG. Now if only someone would do the MG M2 and us all a favor by showing it with the OEM black 19" 437M wheels. Or, even better, with a set of 19" or 20" BBS wheels in gunmetal finish, such as for example BBS CH-R (Satin Titanium) or BBS FI (Satin Titan).

Suits the car MUCH better than LBB imo. And while they're not my favorite wheel, they're much better than the black ones. Would love to see the M2 on a set of 359s.
