Why would BMW mind an already released car being photographed? Quite the opposite, it's great PR to be posted all over the Internet... Sounds more like you've seen too many episodes of Homeland!

Maybe by US standarts... i know the size of a 2 Series, I had one for 4 month as my company car. I think its the picture format that makes the car look small
Besides picture format, it's a smaller coupe when compared to most coupes. It's slightly larger than a 1 series which looks tiny.

Wow. The Sentra looks HUGE compared to it. Give the reference points of these other average cars near it, it doesn't have the presence I thought it would. Still hot though

Those pics are not flattering to me.

The front bumper slits still look horrendous and the rear doesn't flow well.

But good job on the investigative work
OP.

You'd think that they'd just debadge the car instead of wrapping camo in all those random spots (begs for attention). Either way, cell phone lenses cause some of the distortion that makes the car look unflattering at some angles/distances.

Obviously never seen one IRL, but note that some of these cellphone cameras distort the image in a way that would widen at the edges of the photo. I doubt the M2 will look narrower than a sentra...

Looks plain. Doesn't have the road presence of a typical M car here.

Wow LBB actually looks pretty good in person. Not as teal as what other photos made it seem to be. Thanks for posting these photos!

This is exactly my thoughts. I dunno if it's the low quality pics and the fact it's dirty but it just blends in as being a normal BMW don't you think. Especially the far away shots. I'm sorry to say it but its definitely the mirrors contributing to this. Hopefully it's the low quality camer hiding the lines aka flares

If priced right, might have to give it a go.
But I see a Tanzanite Blue F80 in my future

Ha ha after rereading my post i can see why you would say that...but we see a lot of disguised (and undisguised) BMWs in this part of NJ and many of the drivers take great pains to avoid cellphone cameras.

What was your opinion of the carbon fiber interior trim? There is quite a bit of reflection in the pics but it looks good.

It should be the same matte open pore kind that you get as M'Performance parts. I have it in my 3 series. It look very different than the traditional polished kind you find in the M3/4 but retains the actual texture of the carbon fiber. I would say it doesn't looks as luxurious or as readily identifiable as carbon fiber as the kind in the M3/4 but pretty cool and unique in its own right. Also helps that it doesn't show any smudges.

The interior looked good, especially the CF and the blue stitching. It was hard to see inside because it was a bright day and there was a lot of reflection. Wish i had gotten a pic of the seats!

Maybe haters will stop hating on how big the M4/M3 is and just go get the M2.
