Hello to all forum members.
I hope that I am posting in the right area??? I'm not used to forums but thought that I would give this a try.
I live at the Nurburgring and have recently bought a BMW M2 Competition and have upgraded it to a "track tool".
For anyone interested I am posting some videos on YouTube filmed from my car to show the performance against other bench mark cars here at the Ring.
I have attached a couple of links to some recent videos below and which will link to my channel for those who wish to follow. Hope you enjoy!

I expect to be there on 4 Sept during my ED trip. I'm attempting to schedule a break-in service at the dealership in Bonn the morning of 4 Sept. Then later that day I've scheduled two laps of instruction with Apex Nurburgring and planning on two additional laps before the track closes. I have a decent amount of track experience but have never been to the Nurburgring. Video games will only gets you so far (basically memorizing the the turns without any feel for all of the critical dynamics).

Car will be dropped off the next morning in Frankfurt for the trip back home.

CORRECT!....many of the BMW Driver Training were interested in my "Track Tool" when comparing to a standard car.

Paul, welcome. Loved the videos. I just got to the Ring today28JUL. Got o drive before the track closed due to a GT3 self destructed at the mid-point of the course.

Got to say, you are lucky to live here, I am just glad to visit.

We are here for a few days. Maybe you will be at the track over the next few days.

Curious, what mods are you running and what mode do you have the car set at... I assume DSC is off?

They should train them to wear a helmet.

Hi, The car is almost finished and I will hope to post the list of mod's when it's done. I drive the car with DSC in the off mode otherwise the traction control is constantly "babysitting" and getting in the way. NOT RECOMMENDED to others using the Nurburgring unless you know the track well.

Paul, I did a couple more laps tonight. I will be back tomorrow evening as well. Being a new guy to the forum and not having met a single person from the forum, it would be cool to say hello.

Let me know what to look for when I and wrapping up a lap when I do a cool down in the parking lot. I have one more night in Apex, then I am back to eastern Germany for a bit.

Paul pretty sure I saw you tonight. I was hitting my last couple of laps before I leave tomorrow morning when I saw your car in the line up, although I am not positive.

I went to one of the track corners and finished the night watching others try to get their last lap in before track closure.

Maybe the next time I come out or when it works we can have a group meet for those visiting the Ring.
