M2 options list?
Hello all,
Hoping you guys can help, I am considering getting an F87 CP in manual for a fun weekend type car! But struggling to find a list of options the car can come with? I owned 2 cars in the F8x generation an M3 CP and an M4CS and was wondering does it come with things like HUD, comfort access, heated seats etc? Thanks for any and all replies.

Depends on the country. I see you're from London, so I can't reply as to whether something was an option or standard equipment, but I can tell you that HUD was never available. Comfort Access and heated seats were available (in Germany CA was an option, heated seats were standard, but here it's cold in the winter )
Futher options here: - M Seats - Big Brake Kit (silver instead of blue) - Car Play - HK Sound System - Carbon trim instead of Piano Black - Heated steering wheel - M Drivers Pack (280 kph) - DCT - 437M rims standard, 788 in silver or with darker shade as option It's been a few years, may have forgotten something |

Look in the sticky threads just above this post, and you'll find multiple references to original press releases, etc. Info should be there. Non-USA cars definitely got altered option sets, things that were standard in USA like big brakes and the new seats (or unavailable like the older seats, 437 wheels) were optional in some regions, and package contents differ some.
You would do well to also find a VIN-lookup reference that will let you check any potential purchases to see what options they actually came with (specific option codes). Sometimtes sellers get a little forgetful or dealers don't really know what they have, and the factory used a naming convention for packages that was rather confusing, so having specific codes can be important. FWIW, I don't think any M2's ever came with HUD, but you could add it as an aftermarket factory option (cumbersome gadget on the dash). Happy hunting, good luck finding what you want. |

If you are looking at a specific vehicle, you can use one of the following VIN decoders to see what options the vehicle has: https://bimmer.work/ https://bimmercat.com/ https://decoder.bvzine.com https://www.mdecoder.com/ These are not provided by BMW, so they are not always reliable. There is also a reference list of option codes: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=38
