Why isn't the M2CS @ #10?
Please give it a rest.

Cheers

Of course it is, however, I still don’t see the logic of paying THAT much extra (especially for used last couple of years, over $100k) vs the M2C…
And then the G87 comes out and all the features and performance extras of the CS are on par or below…

I see your point on the GT500. But it's interesting that you'd suggest the M2C provides more "driving enjoyment" than a 991.2 911. I've driven my neighbors 2018 Carrera T in the canyon twisties a few times and it has required about $7k in suspension and shifter upgrades to get the M2C into the same ballpark in terms of feeling connected and confident, leading to similar driving enjoyment.

Stock vs stock, the M2C isn't quite there.

M2C is better for hooning. The Carrera is going to be more precise and controlled feeling. The M2C has horribly numb steering in comparison, which is a real Achilles heel and it also feels front heavy, though it tends to oversteer - which gives it a weird balance, IMO. Not to mention it feels way sketchier at speed than a 911.

M2C is more of a silly feeling car, but to be perfectly honest - between a regular Carrera/S and a M2C - I'd honestly take the BMW. It's just more fun, even though it's a hot mess to drive sometimes.

Needless to say, completely different conversation when you get up to a GT3 or RS.

for me I would have to step to a GT4 to pick the porsche but thats just me.

also on the CS vs just regular comp, the CS actually was not much more expensive at MSRP, if you add all the crap that it came with its basically even (sans the ceramic breaks of course), it was actually not a bad deal. However at 100k+ I think starts competing with others cars I would consider owning.

I actually agree with you 100%. My car had 46 miles on it at the time of my purchase. At the time the M2c's were $70-80k with delivery miles. There was no way I was paying that for a car I ordered and paid MSRP ($61k). My M2cs was sitting there like a sexy carrot, so I traded it in.

If I was in the market right now I would look for really low mile 2019 M2c (or early 2020) and call it a day.
