Short one-lap M2cs track video - Dominion Raceway, VA
From this weekend. First session of the day before the rain hit us later on. Driving at 8/10's but ready to start pushing more. I really like what the cs Racing rear wing has done for overall stability.
Note that my GPS device wasn't getting consistent signal so the disparities in speed (they are too low at times) are because of that and will be fixed moving forward. Last edited by ashmostro; 05-14-2023 at 08:36 PM.. |

That’s a really interesting wing. Factory BMW race car wing? Looks like you did some aero balancing on the front. Does it need anymore?

Thanks! yes, that is the M2cs Racing rear wing. It mounts through the trunk directly to the trunk hinges, so it's an inherently reinforced load-bearing structure.
The front aero comes on the M2cs from the factory. Since it's the same shape as the non-carbon splitter on the M2cs Racing, the balance is inherent. The rear wing seems to stabilize the car more in high speed sweepers. I don't think it's giving me appreciable downforce, but it's something. |
